Druidic Spellweaver

Story: Once a common Druid of the Talon, the Druidic Spellweaver set out on an expedition to find the wreckage of his fellow Night Elves that perished due to the Shattering. During one of his many excavations, he stumbled upon a shrine with many images of the ancient queen, Azshara. Centered in the shrine was an orb with what appeared to be swirling mana inside of it. Once the druid touched the orb, he became imbued with the ancient teachings of the perished queen. Magic being taboo within the Night Elf culture, the druid remained on the island, seeking to perfect his command of arcane energies.

Overview: The Druidic Spellweaver is meant to be strictly a support builder. Its structures are all made of arcane energies, and have different properties than other builders. This builder is able to utilize an array of spells to help defend a base or to aid in hunting.

Mechanics: The Druidic Spellweaver is a hero unit. Using it's Arcane Siphon ability, it is able to replenish it's fragile mana pool as well as gain experience. For every Arcane Siphon that completes without being interrupted, he gains 20 experience. He needs 100 experience to level up the first time, and an additional 50% for each level afterwards.

Escape Ability:

Arcane Dive

- Area Targeted

- 600 Range
The Druidic Spellweaver takes on the form of a Mana Crow. During this time, he is unable to be targeted by any spells or abilities. He then dives towards the targeted location over 2 seconds, sapping any enemy units in his path, silencing them for 3 seconds. Once he reaches the targeted area, he becomes targetable again instantly and returns to his night elf form over 2 seconds. If he collides with any terrain during this spell, he will stop as if that were his targeted area. This spell has a 90 second cool down.

Innate Ability:

Arcane Siphon

- Unit Targeted
- 750 Range
The Druidic Spellweaver takes hold of the arcane energies within his target and tears them out, siphoning 25 mana from the target and giving it to the druid every second. This spell lasts for 10 seconds with a 45 second cooldown.

Mana Flux

- 500 health
- 0 Medium Armor
- 10 Lumber Cost
- 2x2 Pathing
Trains harvesters and researches lumber upgrades.

Arcane Gateway

- 1500 Health
- 0 Medium Armor
- 500 Lumber Cost
- 4x4 Pathing
Researches various upgrades for the Druidic Spellweaver.

Orb of Swirling Mana

- 3500 Health
- 0 medium Armor
- 2000 Lumber Cost
- 15 Gold Cost
- 3x3 Pathing
Provides various advanced upgrades for the Druidic Spellweaver.

Mana Barrier

- 1000 hp
- 0 Medium Armor
- 300 Lumber Cost
- 2x2 Pathing
Serves as a wall for the druid and his allies.

Mana Storm

- 500 Hp
- 0 Medium Armor
- 25 piercing damage
Provides 25 food for the builder.


Arcane Elemental

- 100 Hp
- Costs 6 Food
Harvests lumber from a targeted tree over time.

Mana Storm

The Druidic Spellweaver merges the sky and his own mana, causing immense bolts of arcane energy to fall upon targets for 10 seconds. Each bolt deals 75 damage and a bolt is dropped once every second.

Arcane Orb

- 25 Mana Cost
- Area Targeted
- 1000 Range
- RC [5g 500lmb]
The Druidic Spellweaver summons an orb of arcane energy and launches it at the target location. If the orb hits a target, it deals 100 damage. The area that the orb effects is 1x1. This spell has a 5 second cooldown.

Arcane Barrage

- 75 mana cost
- Area Targeted
- 750 Range
- 400 AoE
- ARC [10g 500lmb]
The Druidic Spellweaver condenses mana into solid missiles, sending a barrage at a targeted location. This deals damage for each missile that lands as well as stunning those effected for 1.5 seconds. 10 Missiles are sent over 2 seconds and they each missile deals 25 damage. This spell has a 60 second cooldown.

Combust Mana

- 50 mana cost
- Enemy Targeted
- 500 Range
- RC [5g 1000lmb]
The Druidic Spellweaver destroys 200 of the targets mana, dealing 0.5 damage for each mana burnt. This spell has a 12 second cooldown.

Arcane Shield

- 50 mana cost
- Player-owned building targeted
- ARC [15g 1000lmb]
The Druidic Spellweaver targets one of his own buildings and fortifies it with arcane energies. This gives the building a 15 bonus to armor for 30 seconds. This spell has a 5 second cooldown.

Passive Upgrades

Nullification Shield

- ARC [20g 2000lmb]
The Druidic Spellweaver is imbued with a shield that nullifies all harmful spells that damage him. This causes him to take 33% less damage from all spells.

Spell Shield

- ARC [10g 1500lmb]
Every 90 seconds, the Druidic Spellweaver is protected by a Spell Shield. This deflects the next incoming targeted spell from the Spellweaver, causing it to have no effect.

Brilliance Aura

- ARC [5g 750lmb]
The Druidic Spellweaver taps into the knowledge of mana generation. This causes him to regenerate mana 100% faster. Only effects the Spellweaver.

Increase spell shield cost? In my opinion, a bit low for such an imba spell which is passiv. Maybe 20(+).

I'm sure most people who suggest things know this, they do it anyways because it helps rely ideas and break down other blocks that prevent writing. I know I write suggestions so I just start writing for other things.
