Description: Deceptious invokes an illusion in the minds of those he attacks slowing their movements as they move in fear.

Effect: Units attacked by Deceptious will take the usual slow found on most titans

Description: Deceptious captures the image of a builder blinding it's eyes with a blind of flashing light.

Effect: Deceptious Deals XXX/XXX/XXX damage and captures the image of the initial target. The nuke will proceed to bouncing the appropriate number of times of typical titans with a bounce nuke. The targets of this skill will also receive a debuff for 4 seconds that reduces chance to hit by 10/20/30%

Description: Deceptious fools the eyes of those around him assuming the image of the target of his flash.

Effect: Deceptious' model becomes that of the builder that he nuked for 20s, Deceptious however keeps his unit size but assumes the builders model and colour for the duration. On initial startup Deceptious is also granted unitwalking until he attacks or uses an ability.

Note:While deceiving others Deceptious won't be attacked by auto attack abilities and would have to be manually attacked by towers and enemy units. Units already attacking Deceptious will continue to attack. (In simpler terms, if titan come to tower, tower ignore him unless you A click on him.)

Description: Deceptious consumes the image he has captured, healing him and empowering him.

Effect: Deceptious loses his current image from Flash and heals himself for XXXX/XXXX/XXXX + 100% of images max health over 10s and increasing his damage by 10/15/20% of the images damage for 10s.

Note: Current image is removed, if no image is stored there will be no damage buff or HoT

Note2: The initial heal is instant but doesn't bounce, the Heal over time effect is based on the image.

Description: Deceptious gives a unit his image causing chaos and confusion, while taking his form a large strike of flame will appear, targets taking Deceptious' form allow him to see through their eyes.

Effect: Deceptious targets a unit changing their model to his. On the effect of this a large flame strike will appear to further this confusion even though it will do no damage. Unit affected by this will grant Deceptious vision similar to Eye of the ocean until the debuff wears off. Also on cast all units (Not buildings) on the maps color will change to RED, including Deceptious' for the duration. (This includes the minimap)

Description: Deceptious takes the form of a (Building/Unit/Hunter/Harvester) depending on the shape he takes he will receive a different bonus.

Effect: Deceptious will take the model of a random builders Structure of anytype, builder, harvester, or hunter for XXs. While he inhabits this form he will receive a buff in a particular stat. Also while in this form all attacks will have to be manually targetted.

Building: Incrase armor by 50% of base armor
Builder: Increase Movement Speed by 10% and Attack speed by 25%
Hunter: Increases damage by 20% of base damage
Harvester: No bonus

Note:While in Decepticon, Deceptious won't be attacked by auto attack abilities and would have to be manually attacked by towers and enemy units. Units already attacking Deceptious will continue to attack. (In simpler terms, if titan come to tower, tower ignore him unless you A click on him.)

Arent these spells the same except that you cant rly "choose" which unit you want to be (if u nuke). Cuz with the ulti, you could freely choose anything.
And what would happend if he uses nuke+ulti? And how does this help him to be a structure/unit if it would lower his hp or isnt that possible?
Plus, wouldnt it be too overpowered if he could take the look of balta + the str?

I like the idea of the titan but i am not rly sure of the functions, yet.

Model doesn't change any of his titan stats. Model is cosmetic.

His ultimate has no duration and such lasts forever, since it is a weaker ultimate it is obtained earlier. The ultimate is interchangable to a different form to help fit with the situation.

Based this guy off "The Joker" from Predator.

I've been thinking of giving unitwalking (Windwalk without the invisibility) on startup of the current windwalk Deceive

How would it be with the vision and the colour? The titan prolly sees only what he should be able to see and takes the colour of the builder he stole the form from?

It would be similar to how fantasy life's thief works, the thief in fantasy life has the ability to change their color on the minimap and on model to that of another players. They usually use red since there is no red player to cause mass confusion though.

So in this case when the titan takes on another form, for the windwalk he will temporarily adopt the color of the targetted unit.

I'm thinking of buffing his Unique ability to also change everyone on the minimaps color to Dark green or Red(including himself)

Tracker reveals invisibility and he is not invisible, tracker would be completely useless against him unless he gets a Wind catcher or shadow catcher. Which by the way would be an amazing core item for him

Take this scenario, Shadow catcher on this titan with his ultimate on. Every time he reappears from shadow catcher towers will have to manually target him again.

I've played around on some RP maps and learned some tricks.

Main model, and other needed models placed on the base model at size 0.01 or w/e I forgot the actual size as SFX. when model is required the current model size is reduced and the SFX model is increased to desired result.


(I don't expect this to be implemented)

Will Hex always make you unable to attack?
Hex isn't model changing, it changes the entire unit and applys the health / armor of the old unit onto it.


@Pony there are a heap of factors to consider, such as:
  • Periodic timings to make sure the models are in the same position (movement would be broken instantly).
  • Handling model animation (such as detecting when the actual unit attacks and applying that to the model - this is effectively impossible due to animation blending which is handled by units).
  • Rotation and Scaling of models cannot be achieved by simple functions in the editor, there are none (they all have to be made via creating a destructible and scaling that then attaching the model onto it then removing the destructible).
  • Unit sounds (ugh).
  • Handling special effects that are supposed to be on the unit (because the actual unit isn't visible).
  • Selection handling (selecting a scaled model that isn't the same size as the actual unit).
