Mostly I made this because i do not like the current mini system in Isand Defense so i wanted to create my own version where it's Island Defense/Vampirism/Sheep Tag.

Would it be alright if you called your map something other than island defense? Else it'll really seem like island defense is following in Vampirism's footsteps ... to extinction. >.>

i have to agree with him, although even permission from a current editor would be enough IMO, if you are a good mapmaker i dont oppose to you making a map, or using the style of island defense, but you should make it your own theme, and your own map, to totally rip it off without the approval of a creator/editor is just lame

Yes next version will have a lot of changes.  But i really like island defense a lot.  So if it looks close to island defense, i can't help it, i like island defense.


New stable version will be coming out tuesday and i'll post the link on the original thread.

Also just so everyone knows, i retriggered the map myself, so i did not steal anything from the original map.  I know nothing of deprotecting, so pretty much I had to do it all myself.

One thing i've never understood was why people update maps that no one ever plays... or will play.
