Not sure how you can do this in a real game, but its possible to get a permanent balth. I was testing in single player, and had mag and demon. When balth's timer runs out, he can then be revived at the crystal shrine. Probably not a real problem, but someone may find a way or something. Just a heads up.

the same would probably be true for all races with demo, the research places have the 'revives dead heros' checked and it doesn't check what hero your reviving
though i find it funny that mag can revive heros when he doesn't need to...

No, its a setting to revive at certain places last time I checked. As in only like altar of heroes can only revive humans. Too lazy to check others.

nope, there is only one field that has anything to do with it, the 'revives dead heroes' field, which can revive any dead hero owned by the owner of the structure
even with melee units, give yourself a human and an orc altar, get either an orc hero or a human hero, kill it off, and it still can be revived in the opposite respective tavern

Because if the way you did it was by using greedisgood to get the gold needed to get both builders, then I don't care, because it's otherwise impossible to do in a game. |
