let me begin this one my mentioning the hut unit which most races use to get a titan hunter/upgrades.
it costs 150 wood(usually) and is fairly large compared to other buildings.
while this is not very efficient usually to continue walling with this, but if you only have to wall once it pays itself back indefinitely, making it very efficient.
let me explain.
this building can be utilized to create an invincible base.
for starters.
to attack any building on the map, you must be able to see the middle of the building.
this means that on certain slopes, it is impossible to attack the huts.
here are the slope locations.
top right entrance to the wood base.
top left of the map.
top left base.
top right base.
top right wood base.
top right wood base.
bottom right of map.
top right wood base.
endnote: this is a very cheap strategy, but the counter is pretty obvious so i'm going to mention it.
any vision(vis a vi pearl) or a scout skill which allows you to see the hut will enable you to attack it. this strategy works almost every time in public games, however it has a low success rate in inhouse games. i would limit this to wood bases in inhouse games, and public games respectively.
