How?  If attack speed is reduced, and damage upped to give the same DPS, then there shouldn't be any change from the current norm with scroll than if scroll was used in the next version.

Well, if you cut it by twenty, then the damage per attack would be kind of powerful so warcry could kill a minion in one shot.  However, that's ten times what it is now.

So on further review and some testing, I don't think separating the spellbooks is that good of an idea, and it has been scrapped. The several new spells opened the door to balance issues (Especially nuke combos) so they have mostly been scrapped too. As such the seperated buildings are going too. It was a nice idea, but it doesn't work so well in practise.

However!

Soul Binding and Nether Portal are still being implemented, as they are by far the two coolest and useful spells that were going to be part of the new books. Soul Binding replaces the unused Spirit Link, while Nether Portal replaces the Nether Stone mechanic.

And actually, since limiting the hp regen also counteracted the reason Beast form was unable build walls, the Morphling Beast can now build walls.

Also, tauren get xp on attack, and the new enchanted weapons upgrade gives the mag +mana on each hit as well as increasing his total mana pool.

Beast building walls will be interesting.  Not sure what i think of that yet.

Tauren XP on attack should hopefully help with the tedium of playing.  How much is it a hit?  Ditto for the mag+mana

Undecided on the numbers for xp gains while I fiddle with tauren numbers. The mag mana per hit is probably going to be around 25-50.

The original reason beast couldn't build walls (Unlike say, Mag and Tauren, who can both build walls while in super builder form) is because Beast form has no duration timer. Combined with the high hp regen of the old beast, this meant there was no window where the builder would have to take a risk rewalling while not in super builder form.

However, the removal of hp regen also dealt with this problem, as constantly harassing the beast with nukes would force him to fall back and change shape in order to recover effectively, providing a window where the morph would either have to risk nuking or stop rewalling.

As such, with the initial reason gone, I see no reason why beast form should be restricted in this way. He is unable to build any other morphling buildings though.

I suppose so.  My bigger worry is the fact that lifesteal, slow poison, ranged slow, and howl are alll wonderful titan/minion hunting skills.  Not only can you be an offensive asshole/harasser but the combination of 2 poisons and howl makes escaping easier than mag and possibly better than tauren.   Adding walls to his trapping and minion hunting capabilities means we're going to see even more morph minion rape.

how much gold does it take for a morph to get all these upgrades, isn't it like 80? couldn't a mag or demon rape just as hard?

Probably.  Its just that morphs big downside was that it was much harder to set up walls so you really needed a tracker because otherwise WW would save the minion.  You could go warrior form and trap but if you don't have morphology that's taking away all your skills due to mana issues anyways.  I'm not sure it'll be breaking but it is pretty big.

Increased the rate at which coins spawn in Coin mode, as well as the value of each coin.

30s for 3 coins to 15s for 3 coins, and increased the value of each coin from 3-6 to 4-10.

Edit: Oh and only builders can collect coins now.

Update: I'm not far from finishing this version, as far as I can see. Like, a day or two more, if all goes well.

Currently changing all 'Self-targeted' spells into 'Activated' spells.

Note: Currently, the Tauren gets 1 (One) experience each time he hits the titan, but he gets this one xp each time no matter how he hits the titan, as long as he deals sufficient damage. You can get xp as either the builder or the Champion.

This means several things:
A: You can get experience from aftershock hits.
B: You get double the experience from a hit if you also score a Pulverize or an Earthquake on that hit.
C: You can get experience from damaging spells (Warstomp, as well as the HEC item ability)
D: You cannot get experience from autofire towers such as Spiny

Furthermore, the amount of xp gained per gold has been increased to 4 xp.

In addition to this, the hp gained per level has been reduced to 75, and the Tauren's armour has been reduced.

I think the nerfs may be a bit heavy, because even with the gold plus, it's still going to take forever to level, and then to reach level 3, will take forever on hitting alone.
