Introduction
This is my guide to playing Demonicus the legendary of darkness. I wrote this cause Darox was complaining about no one entering the strategy guide competition, so I wrote this.

About Demonicus

Description

Difficulty: Hard

Description: Legendary Titan of Darkness. Unlike the other titans, Demonicus has no Wind Walk abilities and has only a land-based scout which lasts but a short while. Dominates mid-late game if played right. With good minions, Demonicus becomes considerably better.

Stats
Demonicus’s Stats
The + <number> next to the stats are how much they will raise each level.
Health: 2250 + 250
Mana: 735 + 105
Armor: 13 + 1
Damage: 114 – 114 + 10 – 10
Strength (Primary): 54 + 10
Agility: 46 + 5
Intelligence: 49 + 7

Pros and cons
Pros
Permanent Invisibility at level 12
Permanent Stationary Invisibility with a moonstone and a few minions
An easy to use nuke capable of killing many workers if caught unawares
The arguably best heal in the game (Direct AOE)
A summon spell on the main Titan capable of killing a base from the inside out
Great minions

Cons
More Micro intensive to play well than other titans
Main Titans nuke doesn’t bounce
Hard to get a first minion against good players
No form of reliable Invisibility before 12

Skills

Skill Descriptions and Tips

Shadow Meld (W) – No CooldownStops the unit from auto acquiring enemies, allowing it to shadowmeld and remain unseen at night.
Tips: Use this when sieging at night in the early game before trackers, spam minions heals onto him while he’s invisible and place wards.

Concentrated Darkness (Q) 12 second cooldown
Requires level 1, 3, 5
Demonicus unleashes beams of concentrated darkness, damaging nearby enemies in an area of 600 around him.
Level 1 – 100 damage per target
Level 2 – 125 damage per target
Level 3 – 150 damage per target
Tips: Use it too feed from workers, Nuke builders and get the kill on the builder who is low on health and making a getaway.

Summon Shade (D)Summons an invisible shade to stalk the titans enemies. Each shade lasts for 30 seconds, but can be killed if seen by a gnoll tracker.
Tips: Use the shade to reveal invisible units before you buy pearl and when it’s on cool down, setting it on follow after a builder is a good idea.

Healing Darkness (E) 12 second cooldown
Required level 1,3,5,7
Sprays waves of healing darkness that heal units in target area.
Level 1 – 1 wave that heals 300 hits points.
Level 2 – 2 waves that heal 300 hit points each.
Level 3 – 2 waves that heal 400 hit points each.
Level 4 – 3 waves that heal 525 hit points each.
Tips: Not all that useful when you only have your main titan, but using minions to spam it onto the titan when he’s sieging gives him much more survivability.

Mark of Darkness (C)Requires level 5
Marks a target unit for the manifestation of a spawn of darkness. The afflicted unit cannot cast spells and will take 60 damage per second until it dies. Upon its death, a spawn of darkness will pop from its corpse. This spawn only has 400 hit points, but it has fortified armour and any enemy organic unit it kills will also turn into a spawn of darkness.
Tips: Set it onto a worker before you siege, then use the summons to kill the builder or expensive buildings.

Shadow Walk (Passive)
Required level 12
This ability gives the titan of darkness permanent invisibility. He will not be revealed unless he attacks casts a spell, or is seen by a gnoll tracker.

Slow Poison (Passive)
A poison that slows the target enemy’s movement by 40% for 2 seconds

Skill Builds
The Nuker
Demonicus is not a very nuke oriented titan, and you will need minions for it to work against anyone smart enough not to get within 600 range of you if you bought a rod, this build is still viable.
1.   Concentrated Darkness (Q)
2.   Summon Shade (D)
3.   Concentrated Darkness (Q)
4.   None (Used for getting 2 level 5 required spells next level)

Items

Item Descriptions
Please note I always sell my ankh, I recommend you do the same but it is completely up too you, I also random so I can get pearl straight away, but I will write this section as if you have chosen this titan.

Item Overview
Main

These are items you will see used in nearly every game games and are usually necessary to win, they are highly useful, used in recipes for powerful items or both

Regenerative Spines – 10g
Increases hit point regeneration by 6 points per second.
Notes: These are only ever used in Super Regenerative Armoured Spines, but since they are so common these days I feel I had to put them in here, they are not useful until they are upgraded.

Webbed Feet – 10g
Increases movement speed over land when worn by 20%
Notes: A 20% increase in movespeed is nothing to dismiss, this item will pay for itself in no time I recommend getting these 99% percent of the time.

Trident of Power – 40g
Increases attack damage by 20 and strength by 8 when held.
Notes: They where the only sieging item before Super Regenerative Armoured Spines got buffed and are still my personal favourite, they increase HP and attack damage by lots and can be used to make Titanic Tridents, A very good item to get any game.

Abysmal water – 80g
Makes the titan invulnerable to damage for 5 seconds when used. An invulnerable titan may not be the target of spells or effects. (Permanent, 90 second cooldown)
Notes: 5 seconds of Invulnerability, in which you can’t be hurt. It has so many uses, you can use it to get that last second tele off, crack those last few walls or feed of walls for gold in bases you can’t break.

Pearl of vision – 16g
Reveals a targeted area. Invisible units are also revealed by the pearls effect. Lasts 10 seconds.
Notes: without a doubt the most useful item in the game, it can be used to scout for bases, feed or builders you can use it to see invisible builders or gives you better vision of a base you are sieging so you don’t lose precious few seconds of looking for the walls at the top of the hills.

Optional
Not good enough to be main items, but still useful, though their uses are more limited than main items.

Moon crystal – 20g
Changes the time of day for 60 seconds, and adds +10 to the attack damage of the holder. This item is permanent with a cooldown of 180 seconds.
Notes: Only useful for Demonicus, but that’s ok cause that’s who this guide is for. It gives off a measly extra 10 damage, but it has an ability that is quite useful for Demonicus as it makes him more powerful, the ability makes it night for 20 seconds with a cooldown of 60 seconds, meaning with 3 minions you can make it night permanently.

Gem of Haste – 35g
Increases damage by 10 and attack rate by 10%
Notes: A useful item, but is mainly used for making Beserker Gem, as it grants and 10 damage and 10% attack it’s not worth buying until you need it for a recipe.

Energy Rod – 100g
This rod can shoot balls of energy at the units from a distance of 600 dealing 175 damage. This item is permanent with a cooldown of 120 seconds.
Notes: Used in the “the nuker” build, but apart from nuking it is rather pointless, and is most of the time more useful on a minion, recommended as a resort or if facing a lot of squishy 300hp builders.

Fog Generator – 120g
This item gives off an aura that turns nearby titans invisible. If the titans attack or cast a spell, they will become visible for a brief moment.
Notes: One of the most useful items to have in the game, if you can spare the gold it can be used to wall harass, nuke and keep minions alive much more easily, unfortunately it loses much of it’s effectiveness when the gnoll trackers come out.

Wind catcher – 30g
Hides the titan for 20 seconds while increasing his movement speed by 25% and allowing him to walk through other units (not structures) Useful for escaping armies that box you in. (Cooldown is 180 seconds)
Notes: 20 seconds of invisibility, useful for getting a surprise kill against cocky or careless builders and can help if you can’t get a kill early as it is often unexpected.

Magic Coral – 20g
Increases the titan’s rate of mana regeneration by 50% and adds 250 mana when worn.
Notes: Mainly given to the minions sitting at the back of a base nuking the workers when a titan is sieging a base, very useful for that use and also can be made into some pretty decent items later.

Consumable
Items with charges that will disappear after use.

Replenishment Potion – 4g – Non Combat Consumable
Regenerates 2000 hit points and 1000 mana to the titan over 30 seconds, Dispels if you get damaged.
Notes: Not worth buying, but when got from a drop should be used to heal when it doesn’t seem worth your time to go back to base or sold.

Wand of the Wind – 5g
Allows the Titan to cast Cyclone. Cyclone tosses a target enemy unit into the air, rendering it unable to attack, move or cast spells lasts 5 seconds.
Notes: A very useful item, it gives you a 5 second disable on builders or hunters, mainly used to get builder kills though, wand the builder with escape abilities on cooldown and listen to them scream for mercy.

Eye of the Ocean – 5g
Gives the player vision of a target
Notes: Can be used a form of invisibility detection, quite useful against builders who don’t have workers near or to kill the morphs spell shield before you nuke him.

Scroll of the beast – 5g
Gives nearby friendly units a 25% bones to damage for 20 seconds.
Notes: 25% bonus damage is nothing to scoff at, especially for only 5g, I personally hardly use this unless I’m using minion spam, but if you get these as a drop don’t sell them there too useful for that.

Healing Wards – 5g
Drops a ward that heals nearby friendly units for 30 seconds.
Notes: These aren’t worth using until you upgrade them too eternals, you may still use these when they will for sure get you into the base.

Staff of Teleportation – 6g
Teleports the hero to a targeted allied structure.
Notes: Rarely worth buying, although can be useful to have when facing many golders and you tele is on cooldown, also not a bad idea to have on minions when the builders are out hunting.

Recipes

Eternal wards – 15g
Requires: Healing ward, healing ward, Healing ward then eternal wards recipe (in that order)
A permanent healing ward item that has a 90 second cooldown. Each ward lasts 30 seconds
Notes: The 3rd most useful item in the game in my opinion after pearl and Waters, you can pass these between minions to get an unlimited amount of healing, these are also the best early game base sieging item, and don’t lose their effectiveness throughout the game.

Super Regenerative Armoured Spines – 10g
Requires: Regenerative Spines, Regenerative Spines, Regenerative Spines and Webbed feet then the recipe (In that order)
Increases hit point regeneration by 16 hp per second, 20% move boost and +3 armor
Notes: With these in masses you can become near invincible; they absolutely rape high defence bases and make you near impossible to kill, highly expensive though.

Titanic Trident – 20g
Requires: Trident of power and another Trident of power then the recipe (In that order).
Combines 2 Tridents of Power to free up an item space.
Notes: It just combines 2 tridents of power to free up inventory space, a very good item to have.

Mystic Staff of the Gods – 10g
Requires: Pearl of Vision, Gem of Haste and a Magic Coral then the recipe (In that order)
Increases mana by 250, attack rate by 15%, grants the holder truesight, and can actively be used to reveal large portions of the map.
Notes: I recommend getting this once you have got all the items for your main titan, truesite is very useful to have and the pearl effect is great too.

Life Essence – 32g
Requires: Two Regenerative Spines, Magic Coral, Greater Replenishment Flask and then buy this recipe (In that order)
Fills Titan with vitality, replenishing 1000hp in an 750 AOE over 20 seconds when used. Also provides a regenerative aura for all nearby titans.
(Extremely useful to have on Demonicus because you have an unlimited amount of heals on him and it can be used to make your spawn much tougher, when passed around and combined with Moon crystal you can siege for a very long time and never run out of heals, it gives 12 hp and 8 mana a second.)

Floating Eye – 1g
Requires: Eye of the ocean then the recipe (In that order)
Gives the titan a one use flying sentry that can scout over bases. Does not have true sight, slow moving.
Notes: Useful for when you are trying to nuke a builder or need constant vision of something, only costs 6g so there is no reason not to get in

Beserker gem – 30g
Requires: Gem of Haste, Gem of Haste, Scroll of the Beast and a Scroll of the Beast then the recipe (In that order)
The Beserker gem Increases attack speed by 25%, damage by 20 and grants the berserk ability, giving all nearby units +30% attack for 25 seconds.
Notes: The ultimate offensive item of the game, get this after your tridents, then get tomes as they will make your damage even sexier.

Shadow Catcher – 10g
Requires: Wind Catcher, Moon Crystal, and Magic Coral then the recipe (In that order)
Increases mana by 350, mana regeneration by 50%, attack by 10, and grants the user the ability to turn invisible at will.
Notes: A very useful looking item granting a temporary version of shadow walk lasting 30 seconds, along with the mana regen and bonus makes it a very useful item.

Greater Replenishment Flask – Free
Requires: Replenishment Potion and another Replenishment Potion (In that order)
Regenerates up to 4000 hit points and 2000 mana of every allied unit within 600 over 20 seconds.
Notes: Very useful can be used to heal Demonicus while he’s invisible if you use a minion, will fully heal him for lots of level’s too.

Trident of Power – Free
Requires: Trident, Trident, Trident and another Trident (In that order)
Increases attack damage by 20 and strength by 8 when held.
Notes: Aren’t you lucky you got 4 trident drops and you get a free Trident of Power.

Other

Ankh of Reincarnation – Start with
Brings the titan back to life with 800 health.
Notes: This should always be sold for 15 gold, unless you are getting rushed.

Trident – Free (Drop)
Increases attack damage by 5.
Notes: Try and collect a few if you get 4 you can make a free Trident of Power.

Armoured Scale – Free (Drop)
Increases armor by 1.
Notes: They are useless to you now; kill them once you run out of free inventory spaces

Item Builds
The Nuker
Healing Ward – 5g
Wand of the Wind – 5g (Optional, depending of the skill of opponents)
Pearl – 16g
Webbed Feet – 10g (Highly recommended, the extra time you make with these more than make up for the low cost)
Healing Ward – 5g
Healing Ward – 5g
Eternal Wards – 15g
(Depending on if and how many minions you have choose the next items.)
Foggen – 120g (If you have a few minions)
Energy Rod – 100g (If you don’t have enough minions to nuke, I don’t recommend getting this unless needed, use it to nuke the rewalling builder.)
(Those are all the items you need for the nuker build, after this I recommend starting to get items to tank and break bases.)
Note: You should transfer items like foggen, pearl and the eternal wards to minions when you can; it saves space for stronger items on the titan.

Control Groups

About Control Groups
Control Groups, an important thing to use as a titan, control groups are a way to save your unit groupings and a way to quickly access them, control groups are set to a number on your keyboard ranging from 0 – 9.

Control Groups are important because they allow you much more mobility when casting spells at speed and make microing much easier, having your punishment centre groups is very important because it will allow you to punish at speed and teleport yourself to the centre.

How to set Control Groups
You can make Control Groups by selecting the units/buildings you want in that certain group then holding down the ctrl button and pressing a number from 0 – 9 on your keyboard, after doing this when you press the corresponding number the units/buildings you had in that group when you set it will appear in the group block.

Good Control Group Sets
My Control Group set up
1 – Punishment Centre
2 – Main Titan
3 – Camping minion
3, 4, 5 – Groups of 3 minions each

Another commonly used set up
1 – Main Titan
2 – Pearl/ Item buying camper Minion
3 – The rest of your Minions
0 – Punishment Centre

Kama’s control groupings
1 – Punishment centre
Use F1 for main titan
2 – Pearl bitch
3 – 9 – 0 Other minions and summons

Walkthrough

Early Game
Start by picking Demonicus from the Tavern.
You will spawn in a cave on the edge of your base, immediately make Demonicus move the middle of your camp and kill any stray builder you find then pick your skills which I recommend to be Concentrated Darkness and Shade as they help you get builder kills and there shouldn’t be any bases yet. Next you should sell your Ankh of Reincarnation to one of your stores, look around, if you see any walls around your camp kill a few of them but no more than 6.

You should now buy a pearl of vision and if you have enough gold a healing ward, next you should pearl to reveal bases in this order.

I find these are the best places to pearl at the start as they reveal multiple, commonly used bases and the builders will not know you pearled there, you should cast pearl at every cooldown.

If no one is there proceed to go into the mid right base while you wait for your pearl cooldown to be up after that go to the top left base then the circle lumber base to the right of the top left, you should have found a builder by now, if not keep searching and pearling.

Once you have found a builder, depending on what type it is you will want to go about killing it one way or another, this is how to get an early kill against each builders (This will be much less likely to work against pros)

Murloc – (Teleportation and Panic) Usually not worth going for unless you have the element of surprise, either that being him not walling his entry or you whacking him when he leaves the safety of his base to gold, his escape abilities will give you a hard time to catch him if you didn’t buy a wand of the wind.

Makura – (Teleportation and Seaweed Aura) Still not easy to kill a decent Makura early game, but it’s easier than a murloc, his seaweed aura will make it hard to catch him if he starts to run, hopefully you have hit him by then as that will slow him more than he does you, also punishing yourself will make you slowly catch him, If he tries to tele you should wand him to cancel it, then get in front of where he was running too.

Gnoll – (Teleportation and Ward) Just like killing a Murloc except once you cancel the tele it’s as good as dead.

Troll – (Wind Walk) One of the easiest races to kill early imo, with a shade and/or pearl invisibility is next to useless. Just try and trap into a 1 exit base then set your shade one follow.

Radioactive – (Isotopic shield and radiation) Also one of the easiest to kill, hit it then when it uses shield run infront of it, blocking its pathing and slowing it down. Once shield finishes proceed to kill it.

Morphling – (Spell shield) Ahhh the Morphling the easiest early kill builder in the game, once you hit this guy he’s as good as dead unless he can get into some cover quickly, trapping them into a 1 exit base works well.

Tauren – (Charge) Tauren is hard to catch normally but if you wand him as soon as he charges he doesn’t have much hope of escaping.

Faerie – (Blink) The Faerie Dragon are not that easy to catch, since he can go into a hiding spot and blink out the other side, he can also lead you deep out of your way then blink through some trees to get away, if you get a hit on him out in the open and have shoes you should be able to catch him before poison wears off.

Goblin – (Stun Trap and Panic) These Jew like creatures are hard to catch if you don’t punish, or extremely easy to catch if you do and have a cyclone with you, so when you see the trap appear quickly punish the titan or wand the goblin.

Demonologist – (Nether Warp and Possibly a slowing Summon) One of the hardest builders to catch early, they have summonable tier 2 walls, can get stones that restore health, and can get summons that slow you or can detect invisibility, I recommend going after another builder if you have the choice.

Nature – (Panic and Wind Walk) The original escape artist, this little guy can panic Windwalk and has orc style building, if you are against a decent nature player wait until you have a few minions before you try to kill it.

Magnature – (Frostbite, Slow Poison and probably Wind Walk) Very rarely should your first kill be a mag, and if it’s dumb enough to not be around them middle at the start it will most likely die, Pearl if it wind walks and punish when it slows.

Ogre – (Fart and Bloodlust) Will rarely be killed first, as fart is a great escape skill, a cyclone will stop it and once it’s gone if you got a poke up, he will not get away because lust takes a second to cast and your poison slows more than he get boosted.

Satyr – (Permanent Invisibility) It’s a very rare occasion a satyr should be your first kill, but if you ever get the chance too kill one take it as they give 30 gold and are nothing but annoying to have around, you kill them by either pearling or using your shade try to trap them in 1 exit bases with your scout following them and if they run into a hiding spot nuke them if you know you will have enough mana, as they only have 150 hp.

If you have a minion by now proceed onto Mid Game, If not continue reading.

So you couldn’t kill a builder? Well don’t worry there are still many viable options for you, you can let a few builders go in to get gold then tele/pearl in, you can get a wind catcher and try and get a builder by surprise or you could get a few wands of the wind and keep trying.

If you still can’t get a minion and are about level 4 proceed to mid game anyway.

Mid Game
By now you should have gotten a minion and have some basic items, and need to start attacking bases.

The red circles are the most commonly used, the yellow are commonly used troll bases.

These are the most common bases used, although you should be pearling around whenever the cooldown is up and have a fair idea where they will be building anyway.

Some builders will try to steal your gold at this point and they will leave their lumber bases and sometimes even normal bases undefended, take that opportunity to crack into those bases. Once a few builders are stealing from your goldmine (4 or more) you will want to teleport yourself in, select the cage and teleport yourself to the middle, you should pearl the middle during the channel time for the teleport, so those ww’ers will be able to be seen. A good time to teleport is when someone is detonating their workers as they will probably be looking at their workers.

Keep pearling and searching the map for feed, but don’t let the builders get too much gold, as that will make your end game harder.

Continue to feed from the camps and bases and try to stop the builders from getting much gold as if they get over 45 it makes your game much much harder as they will have trackers out and you want to delay that happening for as long as possible. You may have to siege manned bases at this point of the game, they will be much easier to break now that late game so remember that, there is a sieging guide further down if you need help.

Late Game
This is the time when there a few well made strong bases up, and you will need good micro, levels and items to break them, this is usually after the gold penalty has been, now you will be relying on your micro and how much feed you have gotten.

Now is when you can kill those noobs you fed off for more minions and have too watch out for the builders trying to trap you in and be ready to tele if something goes wrong.
If you’re against a base you just can’t crack you have several options, you can
   - Keep sieging it until the builder runs out of lumber or gold if against    faerie/goblins and you are getting a few tower kills.
   - Nuke the builder trying to rewall
   - Leave it and come back when stronger
   - Summon rush
Most of these will not work if they have got a Waller.

There is not much other information I can give you for this section, as it comes down to how much feed and how skilled you are.

Advanced Techniques

Using Mark of Darkness
Mark of Darkness, a skill Demonicus can obtain at level 5 is an original and powerful skill, it is mainly used to kill trackers or make armies to kill towers, walls builders from the inside out.

Uses of your Unholy Army.
You can start your unholy army of the darkness by using Mark of Darkness on a non builder or hunter organic unit, it can be cast from range so you may cast it on a worker in certain bases lumber areas, if you choose to do this you should immediately attack the base so the towers of it will focus on you and not your fragile summon the summon should automatically start attacking other workers near it and for each one it kills it spawns another summon once you have a few summons set your titan in position to tank the towers and get your summons to either find and attack the builder/ go for gold costing buildings/ front towers.

Above: Darkness summons killing a base from the inside out.

Above: A Mark of Darknessed Gnoll Tracker.

Using Shade
Shade, a highly useful but simple skill that is obtainable from the start and is highly recommended to get as one of your first skills.

Uses of Shade
The shade is an invisible ground based invisibility detecting unit with a 30 second duration, scout is best used to follow a wind walker and should be used just before they activate their invisibility, or if you can’t get a follow going in time group it with Demonicus and chase them.

Summon Rushing
Summon rushing a technique that involves massing Demonicus’s minions summon spell and sending them into bases to kill builders.

Getting the summons out
There are 2 ways you can get corpses for to make the summons from you can either, kill harvesters or you can kill the critters around the map, always use harvester corpses if you have the choice as you may need the critters later.

Sending them in
You should start buy grouping the summons into large control groups then sending the main titan in to tank the towers, the secret is to make the builders think you are sieging them, then you send the summons in either through a second entry or the gaps between the walls. Pearling is also needed before you siege so you can see where the builder is and go straight to him.

Sieging Guide
Picking a base
So you have the choice of which base to siege, and you can’t decide well that’s ok I’m here to help you make the decision, the first thing you should look for is how many walls the builder made, if he only made 3 it’s fair to presume he is inexperienced with the game and should be taught a lesson.

The next thing you want to look for is what the race is, races with ranged hunters should be left until later if possible as they will kill your ward and make sieging much harder, Demonicus’s Hide is very ease to abuse when sieging and having wards makes it much easier.

Picking bases depends on a lot of different factors though and I can’t go into depth on all of them as that would take too long, you will have to decide on most of these factors yourself and make your own decisions.

Sieging Tips
-   Pearl the base while you siege so you don’t waste time attacking the wall at the top of the hill.
-   Spam heal with most of the AOE in front of Demonicus so when you break the wall and go to the next wall you will still be getting healed.

Useful Information
Demonicus doom spell can be used to kill gnoll trackers and other forms of invisibility.
Sell your Ankh it only revives you with 800 health and can be sold for 15g.

Demonicus main strength is the direct heal from his minions, use it on him while he’s sieging and watch the builders cry as they realise there base is dead.

Demonicus has one of the best minions in the game (others are Glatious and Granicles) use them to their full extent if you want to win.

Never Leave the support builders alive they become too much of a hassle later the support builders are Mag, Demonologist, Nature, Tauren, Faerie and Goblin. You may keep these alive for feed earlier but I suggest getting rid of them once they get too much gold or the gold penalty is near.

FAQ
Q – I heard Demonicus get bonuses at night, what are they?
A – He gets 22 bonus health regeneration, and is able to use shadow meld

Q – What should I do if I'm walled in and relying on hide without enough health to attack the wall and escape and no minions to heal?
A – Use your punishment centre to Teleport you

Q – I am proz0r dis guide suX!!
A – Fuck off fag noob, if you don’t like it and have nothing constructive to say then don’t use it.

Minions

Stats
Minion’s Stats
The + <number> next to the stats are how much they will raise each level.
Health: 1850 + 175
Mana: 615 + 90
Armor: 11 + 2
Damage: 103 – 103 + 7 – 7
Strength (Primary): 42 + 7
Agility: 41 + 6
Intelligence: 41 + 6

What should I be doing with my minions?
Your minions, they are your real strength and the possibilities with them are near endless.
First off, you need to decide, Will I punish them or not.
Is you will then read on, if not it’s not necessary to read this.

Please note the skill builds should be changed according to the game, these are made for helping the titan siege.

Your first Minion.
Skill Build
1 – Scepter
2 – Healing Darkness
3 – Healing Darkness
4 – Invisibility
5 – Healing Darkness
6 – None
7 – Rage and Healing Darkness
8 – Scepter
9 – Scepter

Your first minion should be used to camp the mine and clean wall feed around the middle, just watch out as the builders may pull the minion into the walls then try and poke it to death.
You should give your first minion your pearl as he will be near the mine and get its regeneration so he won’t run out of mana. It is also highly likely that the builders will get some hunters and try and kill your minion, when this starts to happen you should teleport the main titan to the mine and cast heal on the minion if it low on health, then proceed to kill the hunters. You should make the minion leave the mine every once and a while and get it to nuke some lumber base workers, this will help stop it becoming underleveled late game and let you upgrade heal some more.

Your Second Minion

You have options with this minion, you can use it to go around and disrupt lumber camps or if they are trying to kill your other minion you can leave it in the middle to help defend, personally if this minion is higher level than the other one I will give this one the firsts items and make it take the firsts spot while it goes to feed, if there are lots of builders hiding in the trees or in walls around the centre you should get the summon spell instead of the second level Healing darkness.

Your Third Minion

Your third minion should be put into a group with the other minion roaming the map, and should be going around with him, he is pretty much just a support Minion but if you micro well you can make him roam the map separate from the other minion, although I don’t recommend it.

When Sieging

When sieging a base your minions should be standing back, and using there direct AOE heal on you when your hurt, if high level tanking some of the towers or nuking the workers at the back of the base.

Above: Minions healing a sieging Demonicus

Closing Notes
Demonicus was one of the first non generic titans, Demonicus is slightly tricky to use and requires decent micro to use effectively, he is fun to play and is very powerful is played correctly.

Looks good, but I'll make 2 suggestiosn before I delete this post.  One, floating eyes now cost a total of 8 gold(5 for eye, 3 for recipe), and in my opinion, I don't think eternal wards are really a useful item anymore seeing as how you can't cd pass them.  Also, just load in the 2.8.5c map and in my opinion, you've got an approved guide.

Still not perma, why not spend the gold on a different item? I usually look for feed at day and siege at night anyways.

I think he used a plugin that removes the limits on the wc3 camera. I saw a link on the dota allstars page somewhere.

Trident of Power – Free
Requires: Trident, Trident, Trident and another Trident (In that order)
Increases attack damage by 20 and strength by 8 when held.
Notes: Aren’t you lucky you got 4 trident drops and you get a free Trident of Power.

It's 3 tridents.

28 damage too, not 20.
And you should note that potion of regeneration is useful for when you're sieging at night and want to regenerate while you're hiding.

20 damage and 8 str. Since str is the primary attribute of all titans you're both right. the item adds 20 damage, but the effective damage increase is 28. See? Everyone is right and we can all be friends.

Actually I used Paint and zoomed in the camera.

Also just to clear this up, all of this information at one point was correct; I had to go back to the draft version of this cause it was the one saved on my compy.

Speaking of which, remember how everyone used my pearl locations map instead of a clean one? Did they really not think to ask where I got the original, or too look for it themselves?

Ruthers, for the items build i think it is better for demon to have web feet and wind wand right at the start instead of healing ward. without wind walk he really lacking some suprise killing ability, and i prefer to give him a bit more ms on running toward builder to buff his killing

I agree, but when this guide was written that was not the case.
