Always get the heart before the butterfly! It adds a good amount of damage (When you ulti) and HP.

If you look at the ulti a heart will give you a very good boost in damage, and more importantly, it will allow you to fight longer, which is your strength. Win build on ursa is dagger, vladi, bkb and phase boots/bot and 2x heart.

If you're saying you don't need evasion because you kill fast, then I can say you don't need assault because you don't need the extra amror.

 As ursa you will be basically always targeted since you deal dps so quick and own everyone in a matter of seconds, evasion isn't viable if you're always being targeted! So Health + Armor = More Tankage? Not to mention Assault gives a +15% Attack Speed Aura to your team BUT it also decreases enemies armor.

Which is why it's very nice for the team to have one. There are way better carriers of it than Ursa though.

Bristle... Don't make me laugh. You're dps is actually higher for the tiem you use on hitting around 15 times. I'd liek ot see how many that survives that. And you on't have to kill centaur first unless he has radiance, in which case he is weak due to no survival items. Sorry revengeZ, heart > bfly on ursa

Assault costs 6k gold. With that, I could buy a heart and have 1k left over.
With that heart, I get much better damage, much much better survival, and all around good times.
Or I could go Buriza/MKB, and I get much much much better damage.
Hell, I could even go Guinsoos and get a wicked sick disable.

Bristleback is pretty poor excuse for a tank, and armour doesn't affect enrage.
More IAS only when you are not using overpower, which is easily at least 2/3 of the time you are fighting heroes.
So you're playing 6k for 10 armour and -5 armour to enemies.

Conclusion?

Ok, let me say it again. Vlads, phase boots/BoT, bkb, dagger, 2x heart. Some tiems you can skip the dagger if your team has very good disablers.

The only way you get killed with Ursa is by mass disable, mass nukes, or gank. Barely anyone can 1v1 Ursa, so more AIS doesn't mean more survivability, unless the other team is complete fail.

Fun fact: me and many others only level ursa's skill to 3 since attack speed items are useful for when the skill is on cooldown(so you have constant dps) and so that they aren't a total waste.  This also allows you to max your other skills ealier and the 300% vs 400% increased attack speed is hardly noticable except very early, and even then usually if you could have landed all the hits with 400 you can land it with 300.

oh and on the butterfly note: it's still worth it.  I wouldn't rush butterfly but if your in one of those games where everyone winds up with 4-6 lvl 4 items butterfly should be one of them.  Late game most DPS comes from basic attacks and not spells and in that case 30% evasion is huge.  The attack speed boost means you can deal decent dps through Fury/base damage even without your other skills.  My end build usually looks something like BoT(i get ptreads first and sell them later.  Early on the attack speed and stats helps and Tp scrolls give the map mobility anyways), vlads, heart, Butterfly, bruzia, BKB,

Also there is almost no point in getting assault curiass over butterfly on 90% of the agi hero's in the game.  AC was basically made for str hero's who needed attack speed and armor later but couldn't justify the absurd price and horrible buildup of butterfly.  Only agi hero's i generally wind up with AC on are one's who focus on armor reduction skills(shadow fiend, and meld bitch come to mind), but even then it's usually not rushed.

You don't ever get level 3 for overpower, and not because it "Lets your IAS items be useful"

It's because you will max out your attackspeed with Overpower level 3 and with agi really quickly and that extra skillpoint early is much better used in fury swipes or earthshock.
