Eh, i'm kind of torn.  A lot of the minor changes are very beneficial, but there's definitely some major failings.

The new hero's, in typical Dota fashion, are too strong at release.  The S&Y changes confuse me.  They didn't really improve or reduce it much at all, despite it remaining one of the least used high cost items in the game, also with consideration that the changes planned for it were going to be geared toward making it actually useful in competitive games.

The Lothars, and along with it, overall metagame changes dissappoint me.  They finally give the blink dagger back a bit of its use, but gear up Lothars to be overused.  With the reduced visions, less useful wards(please let this be the end of the ward wars), cheaper and more improved Lothars, we may be looking at a constant ww war for the end games.

The new terrain is nice, in my opinion.  The changes to improving the use of ganking in general, assists, the bounty hunter, SK, SA and medusa are all great choices and very much needed.  Not to mention making Roshan stronger and making Aegis a 1 instance per run item are definitely nice.

To me this is going back to old school dota. This map is bugged though, and i'm guessing they're getting .55b out asap because I just played 3 dota games, 2 of them which fatalled.

So I have played both the new heros now.

Pirate is pretty cool, but arrow bitch is awesome.

Stun is very situational, although the minor pause you get whether your in the right position or not helps a bunch, powershot rocks, windrunner rocks, and the ulti is pretty average at the start but nice especially when combined with procing orb effects.

Do you really need linked to dotas website?  Regardless, this was copy and pasted from their changelog.  You'd have had to read it either way.  IS THIS THE THANKS I GET FOR SAVING YOU TIME?!  HUH?  ANSWER ME.  WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING, HOMOBASKET?!

Yeah, I already ran into two games which essentially became all out Lothar wars, with one side over using it, and our side saving to take up inventory slots just to counter it.  The problem is late game trying to justify the inventory spot, or take the risk as I did yesterday, and keep dust on your chicken.  That worked well until some sneaky invisible bastard snuck up on my chicken and killed it.

Enchant is in need of a nerf too. Raped both new heroes with chant, went 15-1. I liked the last loadscreen better.

It's not bad, but it's just the same. Dota isn't really about the version, it's about the game if your new. You either hate it with a passion, or like it.
