This  guide  gives  you  all  of the  information  you  need  about  Bubonicus, as well as some tips while in-game. I see that he is largely underused and would like to change that. If you do not like Bubonicus, read the guide anyways, you might learn something. Flaming is not welcome here, however constructive criticism is.
This guide may not be copied or redistributed in any way without the personal agreement of none other than me.

Pros & Cons

Early Game

Bubonicus  is  quite  strong  all  game  long. That's what separates him from most titans. Sell your ankh for 15 gold, and then buy yourself a Wand of the Wind and Webbed Feet. Lock your Punishment Center onto Ctrl 1, and you're ready to go. Rush to any base you feel has potential feed, and destroy only what needed. If builders come rushing in to the gold mound, teleport back and scare them off. Next time that they come, windwalk and rush to them, you will easily kill them in two hits. If actual 'builders' are golding, try taking them out first.

There are different scenarios you will encounter, and I will mention the most common ones.

The first scenario is you walking up to a base, and finding a fruit tree is blocking your way. Destroy the fruit tree and rush in. There might be one of many builders in here. If it's a gnoll / murloc / makrura, they will teleport away. Good thing you have your wand. While they are teleporting away, simultaneously use your wand on them. This will cancel out their teleport and allow you to get closer. This is hard to do, and there's an easier way to get them.  As he comes down, nuke him right before the wand ends, so that it will stun him, thus preventing him from teleporting.

The second scenario is similar to the first, only it's specifically a makrura in front of you. Maybe he decides not to teleport? Instead, he runs out another side with your dragging behind him. His 'seaweed aura' greatly reduces your movement speed and is quite frankly a pain in the arse. Use the 'punish' skill found in your punishment center. Rid yourself of this harmful aura for a split second and get to him. He will probably decide to teleport now that you are dangerously close. Although this might do very little, he'll see that you're catching up. He might wall-walk to safety. Every time he comes out of his building, try using a WotW on him. Again, use your nuke right before the WotW ends. Get near him, and he's yours.

>Remember, the titan's 'Slow Poison' is stronger than the makrura's 'Seaweed Aura.'

The third scenario is when you run into a troll. Tough luck, pal. He will get away from you without any problems. Since you have no scouting ability, you will not be able to keep track of him as he uses his 'Wind Walk' ability and runs past you. There is only one real way of countering this; think like a troll. What I mean by this is, ask yourself the question "If I was a troll, where would I run to?"
This has a small chance of actually working but it's happened to me before. Using your 'Death Void' skill helps so that he is not aware that you're following him.

The last scenario is you running into a golder race. A demonologist mocks you as he is repairing the walls that you are so dearly trying to get through. Don't bother nuking him. Get into the small base and destroy everything. He will probably 'Nether Warp' away. If you didn't know, magic attacks still harm the demonologist while in his ethereal form.

>Always nuke right before the WotW ends, because your nuke damage is dealt in series. And the nuke reapplies every time, so it doesn't have to be exactly on time.

If you have a minion, make him camp. Bubonicus has to go feed some more. A goblin hunter won't do anything to your minion early game. Have him attack the hunter, and always nuke him whenever you can. He'll stay back. Feed off of small walls for gold, so that your main titan may buy his items.

Remember, a titan's beginning is what defines him in terms of skill.

Middle Game

The middle game is really based on your beginning.

You might have a minion, you might not.

If you do have a minion, give him your pearl, and constantly use it everywhere. If builders try killing your minion, don't worry. It's not a problem. Nuke the builders, and kill the demonologists' summons for gold.

If you don't have a minion yet, wait for someone golding to do something stupid, like running in the wrong direction. If a satyr pokes you, reveal right away and use a wand on him. Siege the small bases that were set up early and feed.

Ever had a base that was way too strong, way too early? Use your minions if you have any. Damage a wall with him, and let him tank some of the damage as he helps Bub.When he's low on HP, retreat to the gold mound to heal. While he is healing, nuke the harvesters with Bub, for experience, and so that the baser's lumber income stops. You don't need to see the units to nuke them, unlike most titans. If he detonated them already to prevent feed, forget it. It's his problem.

Get yourself an Eternal Ward as soon as possible, and then two Gems of Haste. You'll be about level 6 now, and taking down bases is all you really have to do. Nuke harvesters if everyone has a base up. You'll slowly but surely gain levels, and in doing so, advantage.

When a magnataur comes up to you, nuke him, try not leaving him at full HP. If he's under the amount, he'll worry about getting nuked, so he won't rewall if you back off for a second. If he comes poking out at you, punish the slow poison off, and continue with the siege. He will take damage because of your plague. Don't nuke while you're sieging because there's a long pause before it, and damage is still being dealt to Bub. If you have a minion, use him to nuke to nuke the magnataur if he comes too near Bub.

When a demonologists summons his minions, back off for a minute. If you have minions, use your nuke on them, and bounce it so that it will hit the demonologist, and maybe even the baser. Bub may then continue his siege on the base if they're out of the way.

Late Game

If there even is a late game part, you'll be fully equipped, or almost. Those large bases that just got out of your reach are still standing strong and proud, so bring over some minions. Keep one or two near the harvesters, so that they don't gain lumber. If you get a chance to nuke them, do it, or it might be the end. Heal every time your HP goes right under the amount you're able to recover, get a vision of what you're hitting, and micro well.

The only reason you'd be this far into the game is because some base isn't inviting you to their birthday party. Sieging is a huge part when you're titan. First thing's first, get a floating eye, and place it on top of the base. The AI in Wc3 doesn't see structures that are over cliffs, hence the titan running around confused, searching for a way to get to the damage source--towers. If you set a floating eye on top, you have a prolonged vision of the base, and you can shift click the walls when you're sieging.
Another good reason to have a floating eye on top of the base is with minions. While your titan is regenerating near the middle, you can have 2-3 minions camp out, right outside the towers' range. When you see someone coming to rewall, nuke them. You might even get the kill.

Before you go attacking, nuke the harvesters, it's free XP, and a good use of 300 mana. If they're out of range or if the builder detonated them, forget it, get them some other time. This will cease lumber income for the builder, meaning less walling after your siege.

Heal whenever your HP drops right under the amount that can be healed. Why now and not later? If you heal when your HP is right under the possible amount healed, the cooldown won't get in your way later on. If you heal when you're at, say, half HP, your cooldown will be going and you're still taking damage from the towers with low HP.

If you have your Blood Lust skill, use it right before sieging, it will help destroy walls quicker. If a magnataur is in front of you, repairing the walls like a cocky bastard, use your plague skill. It will mute him for a minute, all the time you need to siege. This will prevent him from using polar wrath on you, or any other skills.

A good way to get builders is using a wand of the wind on them right before you destroy the wall. Don't assume that he's stupid, he'll retreat as quickly as possible when he gets down. Time your corpse launch skill to stun him and damage him. Try to get the hits in, and hopefully kill him. If you didn't, leave him until the next time.

If you have a couple of minions, let them tank some of the damage. Place one near towers, and let him take 5-6 of them. Place another one on the opposite side of the titan, taking another 5-6 of them. You reduce the DPS dealt to your main titan without harming your minions too much.

Although your windwalk lasts a mere 20 seconds, it's enough to heal some HP. Right before using death void, consume a regeneration potion, and then camp near the base's walls. Right as your skill is running out, use a heal to break it and attack the walls like you were before. This prevents rewalling and is an easy way to heal. You may set an eternal ward behind the titan for extra healing while invisible.

Descent minions rofl. His minions suck beyond measure.
His minions are average, same as Lucis and Syphs.
Interesting skill build on minions the usual is:

1: Death Void
2: Tainted Blood
3: Infected Corpse
4: Tainted Blood
5: Tainted Blood
6: Spray of Decay
7: Avatar
8: Spray of Decay
9: Spray of Decay
10: Spray of Decay

Reason: Early game escape, nuke, skeletons scout and guard mine so minion can leave, heal not needed early because minion isn't sieging as much.

Approved nonetheless, however please expand your guide it makes too many assumptions.

+1 Awesome

I remember darox stating he was improving their nuke range in 2.8.6. So they used to be under-ranged?

i quote:
"Get yourself an Eternal Ward as soon as possible."

are eternal wards even worth it anymore in the new patch? i mean, wouldn't buying wards separately be better now?
there is no cooldown, which is perfect for sieging bases.
for 30 gold (cost of eternal), you can buy yourself 6 healing wards.   Undecided

I never really get eternals anymore, I find that they're not really worth it without passing, so now I just get a couple wards before I head out to seige, along with replen potions.

I still use eternal wards. If I only used them when breaking a base, then each game I'd use about 3. But ward block and blink block are oh so fun to do in pubs, along with the vision they give.

Nice formatting...
but bad guide imo.

Because you didn't cover any advanced techniques I guess you aimed for low-mediocre skilled people. However you don't explain punish.
You didn't mention items.
You didn't mention what to do in a siege.
For example.

^ Guides aren't easy to make. And it is very easy to forget a few things in the guides. Especially titan guides. Theres SO much stuff you need to cover. And you can't just get it all from memory like you can with builder guides.

Titan guides are easier to do than builder guides.

And much much easier to do from memory.

You didn't say anything about getting a Pearl of Vision in your guide.
You didn't explain how to use Q+Tab+Q+Tab when nuking.

And don't tell me most people knows how to nuke like that.

Walrus using eternals isn't the best idea now. They are no longer imba!!  Their cd is too long to make it worthwhile so like I stated earlier its better to stack a minion with multiple wards and replen potions so once first ward is out you can just drop another.
