StiD has it's own and new offical website now. It's still under construction but you are invited to join us. You'll find some infos about IHs there and some other stuffs. I know that in this forum has many topics about a dead forum, etc. but stid.aktiv-forum.com is for infos, news and as i already said other stuffs. So you are welcome to join us on europe. For those who won't/can't find the topic: inhousesIf possible don't troll it, lock it [or do w/e you want]. The topic was created as a side note. |

Why keep posting if ID = forum is dying? As i said in my post above, it's a site where we are posting dates and infos which the motd is too short for. The website is a good place to post and collect the data - better than an easy stupid html site |

Also to Art: The data for the passwords is stored server-side. That's how it knows whether or not you entered the correct password. Maybe AM doesn't have access to that kind of server information if he's using a host site, but it's still there to access.

The data is usually stored as hashes, which are supposedly safe apart from brute forcing and cross checking. But it takes 2 minutes to add some code to a file somewhere and get the passwords before they are hashed. Welcome to the internet. |
