I am wondering why the site always needs like 2-3 seconds to load (sometimes less). It's not that much but why do I have a ping of ~19 to google and a ping of ~165 to ID.org? Anyway, I can make it faster except a faster internet?  |

google.de has servers located in Germany, Nate. ID.Org is on a server in the US (I presume). I also pinged google.com and got 20ms.. well anyway, "nate"?.. |

That's because there is different servers for different countries for faster searching... ie. google.co.uk compared to google.co.nz

i don't have anything at all from id.net. The story was like, hosting was almost expired, chip passed the ftp access (or whatever) to Commander_Baka. Baka somehow deleted something, not sure what he deleted, before the old id.net expired.
