Can't believe how long it has been since we made the "new" forum..
Three years, almost four, plus a year from the old forum.
I've spent nearly 5 years talking, arguing, trolling, flaming, laughing, and posting with all of you.
The question is, after all of this, where do we all go? It has been like this for so long,
all of us desperately holding on to a game that has been past its time for six years,
how can we lightly abandon such an association, communication, and overall friendship?
We all probably know things about each other, more than our own families do, in some cases,
over the course of our tenure on these forums.
We've withstood a surge of spam, noobs, illiterates and idiots, all in the name of sticking together.
But now we are drifting away, all parting from our once fabled calling, we are falling apart.
The once illustrious have left Warcraft 3, the Legends of Island Defense have fled, and
whatever remnants of either remain resides both in our memories and in this forum.
We are all fading away, covered by the mist of age and new inspiration,
leaving to forge a new path that each must tread alone.
It has been a good run, and shall remain so until every last one of us has dimmed into forgotten memory.
I only hope that each and every one of us remembers our time together,
what we have done, what we shall do, and when the time comes for each to fade, to leave only gracefully.
For I know when it is time for me to fade, I only hope the great joy
I have felt over the years to be remembered and appreciated for many more to come.

Eh, with the shift the economy has taken over the past decade or so, a lot of the industrial jobs have fallen through either by closing down or relocating to cheaper countries. The city has been trying to shift towards a more artistic/scientific tone. Other than that, the place is kind of boring :/ for people like me anyways. There are a few pool halls and bars/pubs, and a handful of bowling alleys. I don't think there are many arcades left either and most of our old cinemas' have shut down. We still got a drive thru out in the country side and also some bubble tea places. Mostly we just go to each others houses and play SSF4 AE and such. (Most of my friends got fed up with blops and quit).
EDIT: Doesn't help that my friends can't afford jack-shit so we never go out places that cost money.
