So I remembered something a few days ago. WoW had an "off topic" section on their forums for the useless shit that was around.

Why not change "General Chat" to "Off-Topic" and change "Island-Discussion" to "General Island Discussion?"

Or something along the lines. Hell even keep it as Island discuss. That would fix 90% of the thread lock issues.

I agree, calling it an "off topic" board would make it much more clear.
