Diablo isn't just some custom map to a game, it is it's own game, and therefore has more respect. Also was made by blizzard, not some kiddie who uses the editor. (Not bashing icefrog (or whoever made it), I just wanted to write that sentence) |

Wait did all 3 of you just talk shit about dota and how it didn't keep wc3 alive, or did I miss something?
Dota has between 7-11 million players (not counting china, which apparently makes up 40-50% of the entire game audience)*. Do you not understand that ID, the second most popular map (during the time of panda edit and bots) at its peak, got up to a couple thousand hosts a day at max. That isn't even close to the number of games of DotA hosted. There isn't a single game that is hosted as much as DotA is.
That said you are completely allowed to not like it and think its shit.
*These numbers are from over a year old so DotA has changed much in a year, but just an idea for you the numbers we are talking.

Pretty confident Na`Vi will take it. From what I've seen they seem to be the best team at adapting to new changes and this will be a new game altogether, a lot of new things to learn. MyM are excellent at executing their strategies, but they always need time to adjust whenever there are changes. I'll be surprised if they even make top 5 tbh. Granted, I'll still be cheering for them, but I highly doubt they'll be a contender for the top three, let alone the first prize.

yeah you can. same goes for a fighter. Mike tyson out of jail sucks compared to prime Mike Tyson where he was demolishing everybody. Or roy jones jr. was that nigga when he had speed but since he got old hes slow and garbage now. analogy is obviously slightly different for fighters but nobody stays at the top forever |
