I tried it today. There are a few quirks being balanced... But I say that it's safe to move to SC2  (not saying to stop playing WC3) |

SC2 itself has too many problems at the moment.
So no thanks, I'm going to stick with non-Blizzard games until Activision loosens the leash a bit.

They still use shitty ladder units and ladder names which makes playing boring as hell. Seriously, if they just changed the names, I wouldn't have any problem.

->magnatuar, murloc, ogre, satyr Perhaps not ladder, but you understand what I mean. Also what would be your suggestions, seeing how you can't really call it any of them a "Terran" builder, because there are several. Altho I don't think that would be much better anyways. |

I've never had a chance to try out starcraft 2 ID since whenever I try, the damn lobby never loads. I sat there 2 hours waiting one time without any luck, not as much as 1 other player. Luckily I was doing something else meanwhile.

And you joined a game hosted by bnet? Perhaps it is where you live, because for me at uswest the game starts in less then 3 minutes. |

It's quite different for us in Europe. No games start of Island Defense, there aren't players of this game.

I finished the new terrain so it's all up to agouti for Island Defense 2. If you want to see the full map I can host a viewing of the terrain on SC2 if anyone is interested. WC3 style bases, almost exact style mound, etc
