I'm sure this has to have been suggested at some point but I would really love the ability to repick my race.
I typically wait until one of the last people to pick my race because I try to pick one that the builders as a group actually need. Ton of non-golders? Get Goblin. Everyone has a baser? Get demon or nature. Far too many golders? Bam, non-gold baser.
The problem is, other people simply take for-effing-ever to pick. Many times I'll snatch demon, only to have 2 people pick it after me. Or any other number of similar circumstances.
Under -AR we obviously would not want this as that kind of defeats the whole purpose, but as far as standard mode is concerned, why not?

Pick when the titan spawn is @ 11 Seconds. Chances are you'll be last The problem is, other people simply take for-effing-ever to pick.
What realm do you play on? 90% of the builders always pick in the first 10 seconds. I think the only real value is if you Random someone that you don't like. What's the advantage of randoming? +100 hp (10% chance) and + 40 Lumber. So random and you want to repick there has to be a disadvantage right? What's that going to be? Start with 10 Lumber? For most players that is going to = gg I guess this'll end up like the 'check range' command thread where everybody agrees about it being nice but darox doesn't give a shit.
It would be much easier for the editor if when you make a suggestion make it complete. Other than I want -repick and everyone saying yeah me 2! |

East mainly, west on slow days. Really though all of this is beside the point. There's other factors in there as well, as in everyone isn't going to wait till last. I'm not the only person who is going to repick. Whoever picked first may end up having two people pick the same race right after them. There has to be a first and a last, no matter what. Remove the builder and give another piece of gold so you can buy a new builder. Done.

This is really pointless, it wouldn't affect most people, because all people care about is who they think they are good at. Also if you random and don't like your builder or aren't good as this one, Then don't random.
@wall: this is a complete idea there's nothing else to say other than I think there should be a repick for builders so you can repick.

serious speaking, the majority pick as soon as the cd is over, and you don really have to wait for the take-for-ever-to-pick-builder player since the other 8 shall give you pretty good idea which builder to go for.

The "take-for-ever-to-pick-builder" is usually a newb who's trying to read the essay of a tooltip and then he either picks it or goes on to the next one and gets booted. |

Being able to repick a random in Island Defense is just retarded. DotA is an exception, however, due to many heros, and it's low depth.

Fail Why don't you write the function too. Why fail? And I can't write the function myself since I don't know how Darox triggered certain things. How does he check if you have picked a builder so you don't get kicked? And I guess there are 1-2 other things like this too. Also I don't do it because darox wouldn't implent it anyway. |
