Strife Mode

Strife mode, or -sm, would be where trees inside a base would run out of production, making it so the builders would be forced to seek shelter elsewhere, so they wouldn't always have infinite lumber and as time goes on, gold.

Here's a scenario:
The titan has been trying to break a base for about 10 minutes. He has minions with Wards, LE, and all that so he basically doesn't have to run back to mound to heal up. In the current game-mode, this would go on indefinitely, until either:
The titan gives up.
The builders give up.
In Strife mode, there would be a big risk, going to a lumber spot far from your base so the Titan doesn't find it from pearling your base, or using a Floating Eye. The trees would no longer give wood once they've ran out. Each tree has about 1000-2000 lumber in them. The trees with Grass under them would never run out of lumber. The trees with grass under them would not be placed in a base, or be limited to, say, 3 trees in a base, so the rate of gathering Lumber would be extremely low.

Other problem is mainly Nature & Rad workers. If they had no tree, the hell you get 'em from? You don't expect them to pay gold for lumber pretty often at RCs, sadly.

It screws the tree population more faster.

What if builders have half a brain?

Camp with minions through all escape/entrance routs and just chip away at his walls until he runs out of lumber.

Gank the minions while he's busy sieging.

This mode would promote worker stacking for normal basers, and for nature and radio, reseeding trees after 1-2k per tree isn't much of a problem.

This would promote the use of radio and nature:

- 25 workers
- 2k per tree
= 25 * 2k = 50k lumber
after 50k lumber, consider reseeding or something. (Usually games don't last that long due to impatiency and greediness of titan/builder).

But I don't think that this mode would be used a lot of implemented.

So you like to feed? A good titan keeps an eye on his minis and if you try to gank a mini then just get your titan there and everything you tried to throw at the mini is dead and the titan just got another 30 gold to spend on items for sieging the base.

I just learned about having a bitch minion.

If you have a half decent micro, and at least two minions, grab one to be your bitch.  I know the mini at mound is generally reserved for pearling and camping, but if you get the second one with your speed, then you can have it hold stuff like your eternal wards and serve as an extra nuke, and importantly, have a Staff of Teleportation with you.  I haven't tried it with the staff yet, but I think it's a noteworthy strategy.

2 level 3 bitch minions with level 2 nuke is the most reliable.

They can down a builder on their own and fend off armies with that devastating 350ish-360ish nuke damage and ww out.

Just bring all minis with you and when people try to gold sneak up on them cutting of their escape routes and they will be much much more careful next time.
