30.3.2011 14:50 GMT+1 I logged on battle net and got informed that Global-ID got spammed by a spamm bot. After I joined the game I couldnt see anything because the bot spammed even worse than a macro spamm or in the topic on idbot.org (See this topic -> http://www.islanddefense.org/forum/index.php/topic,2587.0.html | http://img821.imageshack.us/content_round.php?page=done&l=img821/3417/logfile.png&via=mupload) After I couldnt even access the log file of the bot ( 12GB) I was forced to change the name because the spamm bot was using a mix of "spamm" and "namespoofing" - it means I couldnt ban/mute him. Closing all slots was the only chance because the spamm bot rejoined every 1 seconde after you kick it. The new bot's name is now: StiD-ID - It isn't really "cool" but I had to find one. I don't need any replies I just wanted to inform you. |

Well I forgot to say that I couldnt access the log file because it was too big/ much spammed. (Remember it spammed ~1day/hours and with around 500words/min) There came a white screen.. I also wanted to check the ip/gateway. |

How can I open a file from a server with this programm? And anyway on the image I didnt see something like an Ip or account.. |

I have never talked to him, I never met him anywhere. Maybe Global-ID had many players who he wanted to have. So he just ruined our bot? I don't even know him.. but now I do. Coooool the spam bot came back. 450mb "only" this time. |
