I have an Early version of Island Defense where there's just Murlocs and Lucidious on a small map And for the murlocs to win they must kill the Mound.

Wrong again, they didn't win when they killed the mound. Thats how the original gold mound worked. Kill it and you get 1g, then it respawns.

I said an Early version of it, the one you speak of Could be an newer then the one ive got.

Wrong.

The very first gold mine gave you one gold when you destroyed it. It never won the game for you.

After that it was the attack once for 1g mine, and then the new mine we all know and love.
