The Sludge Builder

I'm aware I've been suggesting alot(like overly alot) but i have all these great ideas and i can't keep them contained. But next up. Sludge Man

Sludge Builder washed up on the shores after being released from the depths by all of the titanic activity. Now he has come to stop the titans and return to rest.

Not only is this builder unappealing to fight, hes just as unappealing to attack

Stats

HP:250
MP:0
Movement Speed:300
Damage:125-125
    Type:Piercing
Armor:0
    Type:Unarmored
Collects 10 lumber per hit for 20 lumber

Abilities

Expand
Permanently raises the health of the builder by 50, adds 30 mana, adds 8 movement speed and 7 range. 8 minute/480 second cooldown. Takes 10 seconds to channel

Absorb
The builder takes damage until he reaches 1 health, at that point all damage is negated, including spells. Lasts 8 seconds.

Muck
The builder has a very sludgy body causing any enemy that attacks it to have 15% reduced attack speed for 10 seconds

Toxic Strike
The builder's strikes have a deadly toxin in them slowing the titan for 10% slowing attack and movement speed. Lasts 10 seconds.Stacks up to 8 times, Idea by Pony.

Ooze-(Requires Ooze)Causes the builder's body thicken, reducing physical damage taken to 1%. Lasts 5 seconds

Sludge Armor-(Requires Sludge Armor) An allied targetted unit gains the absorb ability for 5 seconds

Sludge Bomb(Requires Sludge Bomb)Throw a Sludge Bomb which causes titan to take 4 hp/s over time while blinding (20% chance to miss) for 10 seconds. Idea by Jux.Mage

Buildings

Shelter- 5 lumber
Trains Harvesters,Collectors and Providers.Doesn't provide drop-off point

Harvester-7 food, Harvests 2 lumber for 10 lumber total. 50 health
Collector-5 lumber Provides lumber drop-off point.1x1 200 health
Provider-20 lumber Provides 20 food. 20-20 damage.2x2 300 health

Collectors and providers have 200 movement speed.

Research Center
Grimy Body-2 gold 750 lumber/ 3 gold 750 lumber/ 5 gold 750 lumber
Gives the Builder a 25/30/35% chance to take 25/30/35% damage
Viscous Sludge-1000 lumber
Gives the builder 2 armor and Muck
Slimy-1/1/1 gold 500/600/700 lumber
Gives the builder a 5/10/15% chance to evade an attack
Gunk Armor-2 gold 750 lumber
Gives the builder an extra 2 armor and fortified armor
Inotropic-600 lumber/2 gold 500 lumber/3 gold 750 lumber/5 gold 1000 lumber
Increases the builders attack speed by 15/15/20/25% for 6/7/8/9 seconds

Accelerated Growth(5 gold 1000 lumber)
Decreases the cooldown of Expand by 100 seconds

Mud Slinger-90 gold 2500 lumber
Damaged enemy units have sight range reduced to 300 for 5 seconds.
Transmute:Gives Mud Skin Aura
Gives 15 damage reduction to all nearby units in 550 AOE(stacks with builders reduction 1 time)

I like it, but glacis slow poison will screw you up when absorb is used

Looks like a rather bold concept.
Mutating slime that can expand its qualities every 10 minutes and loss of attack speed when attacking.
Im not too sure if the loss in attack speed is quite worth it, its like an extra you wont be trying to exploit.

To support the concept, I suggest you add in something that encourages this builder to confront a titan and suffer hits.
For instance:

The Sludge builder slows the target unit by 15% with each attack. With every attack, the Sludge Builder slows more intensively and should the target unit attack back, it suffers an increasing loss of attack speed by the same degree.
Lasts 6 seconds.
And if you throw in an upgrade that gives the Sludge Builder fortified armor or an ability that resists physical damage, that would be great as well (It does lack a static shape after all).

This would encourage the Sludge Builder to go forth and strike a Titan, knowing it has a stacking slow in movement speed and attack speed, should the Titan retaliate.

Actually i was going to add that but i guess i forgot to

I agree this guy would be a real pain to hurt
If i were titan and i came to mound and everyone was golding, i'd attack him last because of Absorb and his slows

Btw look it over
He has a fortified armor upgrade and a damage reduction
Check for Grimy body upgrade and Gunk Armor

Thats a fairly great concept you are building up, throw in more conceptual upgrades and it will just get better.

Consider my suggestion of throwing in +AS upgrades, and I would recommend in this reply as well, to throw in a second upgrade that allows for improved chances of ignoring damage.

Template map means a short work map that you can design your builder on.
Its better than a flat terrain.

I wont be designing the builder for you, just giving you a map to do it yourself on.
If you want me to design the builder however, you are going to be waiting until Topright on ScII ID atleast is finished.

And one quick question , the moving food sources and drop off points how much exp would they yield titan and how much gold if killed?

1 gold for collector, 2 gold for provider, and both are equal to fruit tree exp.

ID needs diversity and i do think that this fits it well.

Providers can move
so you can make a bunch of food sources, and the move them along to help kill a mini? That sounds pretty good.

Providers can move
so you can make a bunch of food sources, and the move them along to help kill a mini? That sounds pretty good.
I suppose.... but they are slow as fuck, 100 movement speed.
