I.E Faerie and Radio with magics.

How exactly is that done? I can understand a titan that uses mini's for healing but what about the ones that don't have that option, Glacious, Breeze, Molt, etc. Do you just have to rely on pure brute force to get you through and hope you can bust through the walls before you die or is there a trick to it?

Put wards far from the base, but close enough where you could heal at the same time.

If you were smart enough, use your minis to nuke/heal.

I have to agree on your opinion here. Mana burn towers are rather dangerous, and can drain you dry in seconds while also gaining in a healthy damage bonus due to manaburn.

Your best bet is brute force, like most titans play it out. But a little different.
When im up against builders that have built a base strongly revolved around manaburn such as Faerie, I help them along the way. I use all my abilities to drain the mana out. I might even cast spells beforehand so I can get rid of the mana all that faster.
Once the Mana is gone, you are at the mercy of your armour and regeneration.

Items that can help you here are Super Regeneration Spines, Healing Wards, Beast Scroll and Life essence.
Life Essence boosts your mana regeneration by 6 per second yes, but its 1000 hit point heal comes at handy, especially since it helps you drain mana quickly with its activation cost. Minions also get more shots at the rewalling with nukes, so its a definite plus.

Armour and pure brute force. Faeries also tend to be quite vulnerable to Miniminions, given the towers slow rate of fire. 20 of these can rush into the base and kill the Faerie. Using your main as a dummy for the towers makes it much easier for them to do so.

So at best, you have Three options on your hands, i'll repeat:
- Armour and Regeneration (Its also possible to go damage orientation since the damage lessens once you run out of mana)
- Minion Nukes
- Miniminions (Breeze and Fossurious being absolute favorites on this one)

All you really lose is the ability to heal. What do you gain? A Base that deals less damage, and that can depending on your build actually be favorable.

Normal Energy Tower: 50 Base + 2 Feedback      = 52
Enhanced Energy Tower: 70 Base + 2 Feedback  = 72
Super Energy Tower: 90 Base + 4 Feedback       = 94
Mega Energy Tower: 110 Base + 6 Feedback      = 116

So it isn't really too much of a buff Tongue

Still, +6 unfiltered damage does a lot when added up.

Considering the titan has a bout statistically 65% reduction at average games;

36 Super Towers * 4 Feedback = x
OR
36 Mega Towers * 6 Feedback = y

Full Super Volley against Titan reduced to (90*36) * 0.65 = 2106 + 4 * 36 = 144

Full Mega Volley against Titan reduced to (110*36) * 0.65 = 2574 + 6 * 36 = 216

This is by each volley, assuming its full and that the titan is not carrying any items. Ofc, the Feedback ignores any damage calculations and is scored as unfiltered damage.
Since it strikes both Mana and health, it is often the reason the Faerie base is ignored when there are others.

use up all your mana before u siege so mana draining towers are less usefull

This is partly true, but it is not entirely true. Do this if there is so much feedback happening that you can not get more than 2 heals off. Otherwise, save your mana.

Feedback does 1 dmg and exhausts 1 point of mana. Let's use Breeze as an example titan: His heal heals for 1200 for ~450 mana (if memory serves)

No mana vs. 2- heals
Scenario 1: Let's say you had like 2000 mana. If you oomed yourself before the fight and went in, you would take ~2000 less damage. (+2000 health, in essence)
Scenario 2: However, if you went in with a full 2000 mana, you would take ~1100 more damage, but be able to get 2 heals off (exhausting the remaining 900 mana) and heal for 2400. (+1300 health, in essence)

So this method is good with this scenario (which pretty much assumes a full feedback base) But let's assume you can get 3+ heals off.

No mana vs. 3+ heals
Scenario 1: You still take 2000 less damage. (+2000)
Scenario 2: You take 650 more damage, but heal for 3600. (+2950)

note: These models assume you can survive until you are oom.

sure its only partly true and always depends on the titan, builder and player. its just a general idea. im also not sure how much damage feedback really deals. it might be only 0.75 per mana.

I wasnt really thinking about faerie but more about radio and mass magics, although i havent seen that recently.
Im not sure whats the couldown on breezs heal is but i doubt you can get 3 heals of before you broke the base or you are oom. what i would do is cast heal, magic winds(?) and acid rain in that order. Not sure if thats good or not but i dont really have a place to test it.

With radio massing magic isn't a good idea. Maybe having a few if you have more than enough gold, but getting rapids is almost always better. Plus the main problem with mana burn bases, they are completely nullified by a greater/replen pot because it gives the titan more than enough health, coupled with enough mana to do atleast 1 heal in the middle of a siege.

I could've sworn Replen pots are cancelled upon taking damage.

Wrong. They're cancelled when the user attacks a unit/building.

Yes, any of those non-combat consumable items are canceled upon taking damage, not when you attack something.

Still, the strategy of sieging a base that focuses largely on mana burn, is to either burn away your mana or try and reserve it for more spell usage. And either compensate with damage or armour, depending on the regular damage output should you run out of damage.

Without going into detail, that would be my suggestion.

Late reply, but haven't had internet for awhile.

Recently played faerie, his mana burn ratio is like 1 hit to 8 mana burned. There is no way you are going to get 2 heals off in that time, its much more effective to burn it all first and just use a replen pot and cast all your spells right away.

As molt with mana stone I usually get 3 heals off....

Generally I roll tridents so I'd just break 3 walls, act defeated, go behind trees pop a pot and WW next to walls. With wardblock and my TT, dead waller and eventually dead builder
