You cant extract the URL for warns under your name could you? You can also lock the topic you "warned" them in, preventing it like that. Even so you can also make the links to those censored, thus nullifying the problem. The punishment level would actually have no affect on their posting, and they could have, let's say.. a cupcake, under their name for it, and highlighting tells them what earned it. A bit off-topic, but I don't get what's wrong with bringing this thread back up with actual discussion. If he posted something stupid like "I agree" or made some stupid comment that had no effect to the conversation yes, he would be in the wrong. It is actually encouraged though to bump an old thread if you want to talk about something rather than creating a new one as it leaves less clutter.
