Lol.... waa to say its fun but unfair all u do is be red and type -ar then -sd fast then when titan spawns get 1 gold fast u gotta risk it then type -sd again so u can see the boat n keep doing it til u have a builder. also u get 2x gold and lumber Use Puppeeter fast wood + LB. History time!
Most european counties spoke their own languages. Britain, soon to become England, spoke English, which was a mixture of Germanic roots, mixed with spanish structure and then more Latin influence. This evolution mainly came around from the need of simplification from Latin inflection.
In Europe, there was a need for bilingualism. You needed to be able to communicate with others. Most illiterate civilians at least learned basic phrases in neighboring countries' languages.
As the colonists moved to America, they didn't have neighboring countries to communicate with other than the occasional French and Spanish in the Western Hemisphere, so most did not bother trying to learn. Even after foreign influence spread, the Americans still did not feel the need to learn English. Because of this, in comparison to Europeans, Americans/Canadians learn less languages comparatively.

Great history lesson, but this isn't colonial America. Currently the education system in the states is horrific which explains why many Americans can barely speak english let alone a foreign language. To say that there is no need for Americans to be bilingual is a foolish statement of the past. We are living in a world based on a global economy and to thrive in that world you need to be educated on other nation's languages and cultures. Something which Americans seem to be oblivious of. |

what countries did those colonist belong to? French = France Spanish = Spain? Who knew, I was taking history, just went through the French History. |
