I propose adding a tome of strength to the bestiary and merchant.
I think that a new type of tome should be included to give the builders an actual choice instead of just always competing for hp tomes.
This would mostly be for taurens and titan hunters, although I imagine that it could be modified to work with normal builders as well
1 strength gives
+25 hitpoints
+1 damage
+.025 hp/sec regeneration
if I remember correctly
If this were priced at 10 gold, it would be roughly in balance with the existing tomes.
This would also give an option to spend excess gold when it isn't safe to go to the middle for an hp tome.

I kinda like the idea, but it'd have to be done right. Maybe if it required a adv research or a heavy lumber upgrade before you could buy them because races like get gold, and then get more and more and more after about 30.

Stat tome plus normal unit = Ultimate failure.  Just putting it out there. Could do a fix like the damage tome, but I'm lazy. |

What? The point is that if a unit that is not a hero acquires a +stat tome the game crashes. |

What? The point is that if a unit that is not a hero acquires a +stat tome the game crashes. Use a Damage Tome of a +Damage of 0. Then trigger to add it. |

Tomes ARE items.
erm, non-comsumable items. (happy now) i'm pretty sure tome of power is an item that a trigger kills when it is picked up and gives the unit +15 attack. (atleast in island defense) |
