I was wondering if anyone could make a guide on basic/intermediate/advanced survival tactics, I.E. Wall Walking, Titan Hunter placement, walling, any little "tricks" that would come in handy for orc new players.

Build 4 layers of walls
Whore out towers
Survive.
There was a good thing murs had posted where you take your builder's RC and if you place it correctly on a ramp block off the vision of it, which can be a very cheap wall since most people fall for it.

Zen, even the pubbies abuse LoS now.
what you really need to do is practice micro like there is no tomorrow. Practice setting up lumber bases as fast as possible, and denying them. You should be able to get a full base as nature below mound before titan spawns, and be almost done denying.

1) If you start as panda, start building in a seed, then when you get enough for research center, build it outside your seed (The spot is preferably at the base close to middle), then spawn champion workers, then bring your research center and shelter to low hp. Use your champion to deny it/them.
2) If you start as Radioactive, when you get your hunter, always sit in it when you go gold or escape, but don't sit in it when you're hunting.
3) If you're Ogre, don't plan to base if you're noob at it. You should mostly attempt to outrun the titan with your Fart and Bloodlust.

Theres so many tricks for succeeding in island defense, listing them on forums for new players to read is pointless. Most new players wont even be aware that there are fourms and if they are they wont learn how to do the tricks just by reading them. The best way to learn is to play the game with people who know what they are doing. It's not hard to mimic what other people do. |

There are occasionally actual good titans who can beat pubs because they are better and know what to do.
Then titans are fucked in IH unless someone fucks up early because lee wasn't there to save them.

it's not hard. go bottom right as mag, get hp ups hang out in a seed there until a good base is made then run like a mofo there.

I've played somewhere between 5 and 10 In houses with IDG, and I can honestly say that last sentence is completely true for every single one of them. In houses are broken. Titan should start at like, level 4. |
