I'm not even sure if it's still in the game. I haven't played in ages. I just remember it being stupid as shit. That can also be said about "-ma."
StarCraft II Terrans have the option of getting a mule later in the game. And it brings back, what, 30 minerals at a time? On the other hand, it only lasts a minute.
I suggest you take from that and implement it to all of the basers (if not all of the races). Personally, I rather see it as a privilege to get this kind of lumber boost.
You can work out the costs, but something nearing the "5 gold and 300 lumber" area. The numbers can be tweaked, they're not important. It would obviously cost no food. It would last only a short period of time--about a minute. You could only pump out one Mule at a time, so a cooldown of 3-5 minutes would work fine.
As a bonus, this mule could be equipped with a spell of some sort. As a replacement to -ma, it could have a skill that detects which Titan is playing, which minions are playing, and what level they all are. It would only be able to use this skill once in its duration.

Just letting you know, that in the 3.0.8 released by neco about a week ago, -g2l was replaced by a bulk of lumber you can buy at any research center. The catch is, that it makes a bundle of lumber as an item near the rc, so if you are golding but want as many g2l as you can, you have to stop and run over there.

-ma was the most stupidest command ever and will never be re-implemented.
The mule idea for temporary lumber harvesting ain't half bad though.
