This is part of the manual for the builders, I've just got a lot of random shit saved up from satyr, so I'm starting with him... Oh, and I know you guys prefer having mostly-complete guides posted, but I have a LOT of icon links stored on an IH site, and I don't really want to re dl to put in word.. etc. TL;DR: It's too fucking complicated.
---- Actual Guide Below -----

Introduction

Welcome to my guide to Satyr Shadowdancer. Let Orcie Sensei teach you the art of the shadows.. unfortunately , we don't have the powers of an Ogre Shadowdancer, but our permanent invisibility will suit us just fine! The Satyr is the classic "Glass Cannon", able to dish out massive amounts of damage, but typically easily destroyed until he achieves his upgrades late game. I'm going to teach you how to avoid this; How to use your abilities, escape the titan, and to make every minion fear for its life.

Satyr - The Unit

Let's look at our little ninja...

Satyr Shadowdancer

Difficulty: Very Hard
Escape Abilities: Permanent Invisibility
Description: A fragile stealth artist, this gold hungry builder can loot the titan.
Although physically fragile, his high damage combined with his abilities make him
perfect for slaying titans. Definitely not for those new to Island Defense.

Health: 150
Damage: 255-255, Piercing, Melee
Attack Speed: Average
Armor: 3, Hero, 15% damage reduction
Movement Speed: Very Fast
Building Type: Peon (Allows "Wall Walking")

Buildings

Rogue Den

Acts as a shelter for the Satyr and also
provides other vital functions and researches.

Cost: 0 50
Health: 200
Armor: 5, Fortified, 23% damage reduction
Size: 3x3 (That of a Fruit Tree)
Notes: A crucial building to the satyr - requires 50 lumber so you cannot get it immediately; useful early game for weak walls and for "wall walking".

Loot Stash

Allows the Satyr to learn deadly skills.

Cost: 15 500
Health: 400
Armor: 10, Fortified, 38% damage reduction
Size: 3x3 (That of a Fruit Tree)
Notes: A critical building to get as soon as possible, this enables you to get additional endurance upgrades, and the upgrades that enable both Dash and Blur.

Thieves Guild

Has units for hire, at a price.

Cost: 40 150
Health: 300*
Armor: 10, Fortified, 38% damage reduction*
Size: 4x4
Notes: An important building, this enables another tier of endurance upgrades, and allows you to build a permanent army to hunt minions and titans alike. Contains the upgrades for all types of army units.

Crown of Thieves

*unverified -Can I get the numbers for these? (3.0.6e version, please)

Guide Edit Changelog:
-added CoT icon
-added size statistic

First, Thieve's Guild is, in fact, 40 gold.

Second:

Notes: A critical building to get as soon as possible, this enables you to get additional endurance upgrades, and the upgrades that enable both Dash and Blur.

It's one upgrade, isn't it? Maybe two. Not the best Satyr. Anyway, you might want to say that you should probably wait until you at least have the gold to get the endurance upgrades (running off without the 5 gold for the upgrades is extremely stupid - titan bashes it out before you get them and there's a wasted amount of gold). It seems like common sense, but eh.

You could easily buy 3 from the shop, making it 9g instead of 15g.

So no.

I did.

I think.

Anyway, it IS in fact, in 3 upgrades. first gives dash and buff, second just a buff to evasion and crit, third buff again but with blur.

Nono, I meant the HP upgrades - there's only one from the Loot, I thought. No wait, there's two. I knew it was three upgrades.

Loot allows 2 more hp upgrades, to make your total 300. Dash takes one, blur takes 3 of the same upgrade.

yeah. This is how it works; Each endurance gives you + 50 hp and 1 armor.

Den: 1 endurance.
Loot stash: 2 endurance. Makes total 300 hp 6 armor.
Thieves Guild: Adds another endurance
CoT: Adds another.

Leaves your grand total at 400 hp and 8 armor. Not bad.. =P

If you guys could get me pictures of you poking /dusting and other useful stuff I'd appreciate it (I can get it myself but it'll take longer for the guide to be finished).

ps, I'm also going to make a wall walking simulator (similar to wall walking practice but better, it'll have modes for various types of nuke-dodging)

Bing! color just popped back up.. so much for not editing the guide 2nite >>

Whatcha mean by wallwalking practice? That wallwalk map with nature builder and demonicus?

No panic/windwalk makes me a sad panda.

Great idea though.

lol. I'll get started on it 2moro =p
what do you think its features should be?

Should it be a computer or player controlled?
Should you have one large area for everyone to wallwalk in, or smaller, but less congested "cells"?
Or would you rather have everyone has an individual player but go into "mini-games" where it allows them to attempt different types of nuke-dodges or wall walking (with simulations of all wall-walking builders and all titans)?
Or would you rather it be like it is now, but with more customization and fixes?

Just a few things to think about, let me know.

Make it have two modes, FFA and cells. FFA is how it is now, with customization and fixes, and cells as you described. I REALLY want a map that lets me practice nuke dodge! You have to put that in! I don't get nuked enough in a real game to practice properly D:.

And yes, all titans and all builders should be used, and you should set it up like this:

Two modes, one of them player controlled one of them computer controlled (ie. player controlled can use spells, such as Bubonicus's level 13 Plague, nukes, etc), and the aim of it is to survive for a set time limit or something.

good ideas. but if you have further comments (anyone) put it in the "Wall Walking Simulation" thread.
