Hi all! I'm Mrduck, relatively new to the forums, and this is probably my first REAL post. Now, i've had this Idea for about 2 months 3 weeks and 1 day now. and have finally found the time to create an account, and post this idea. So with no further ado. let me present the Pied Piper!
The Fabled Piper is a legendary musician whose songs can Entrance or Devastate Foes, Renowned by all as one of the most powerful musicians in the known world, the piper is able to control all manner of creatures and was once known as the "great feeder" on the island. The piper was once a servant of the titan, bringing all manner of creatures to the island via nether portals to sustain the titans hunger and stop him from leaving. But once the Titan was plunged into his great sleep after eating too much and hibernated for years, soon the piper left the island, hoping to become more of a musician and develop his skills more. But now, upon hearing of the Titans awakening, The Piper, knowing he cannot sustain the titan for much longer, decides to aid the builders and inhabitants of the island in their fight against the titan.Type of Builder : Support/Army
Difficulty: Hard (as he has to be close to allies or enemies to do anything. escape abilities are for a group of people. but aren’t as effective on own.)

Now bear with me here.
Spells-
Summon Instrument
For the Bard to be able to perform his deeds of musical power, he needs an instrument, so using the natural power of rock the bard summons an instrument from the great beyond; one that increases his life by 100 and gives him 150 mana and mana regen. (note that only the piper can use this Item, and it cannot be dropped, cannot be sold and the piper can only have 1.)
But when the Piper Upgrades that Item into the Final upgrade of that instrument. (Final Tower) He loses all of those buffs and is forced to summon another instrument.
The Piper, when he casts this spell, will receive one of 3 items at random. Each of these items will give a special buff and ability. HAS A CAST TIME OF 30 SECONDS
Item 1 - Resonating Flute
The Flute will give a stacking "resonance" attack, (works like the firlords passive attack ability)(cant remember name)
Everytime you attack the titan that is affected by the spell it increases the damage by 5% each time, when you get to 25% you will receive 1 gold everytime you attack it if it is still affected. also gives a +10 agility bonus to the piper.
Item 2 -Harmonius Harp
The Harp gives a slow poison attack, reducing movement speed and attack speed by 20% for 1.5 seconds every attack, (same gold bonus as flute. if you attack titan 5 times you get 1 gold every attack if its still affected. )
Item 3 – Ambience Drum
This Drum gives a AOE attack an extra 50+ HP and a +10 str bonus
(Same gold bonus when you attack titan)
All three of these are incredibly important to the pipers game play, as you are able to upgrade these 3 times, each time giving them a upgrade to the buff’s and the instruments are able to be upgraded into the pipers final tower.
Song of Summoning - Icon: Carrion Swarm

Missile: Carrion Swarm

Casting Time: 1 second.
Description: reduces the movement speed of the enemy target by 50% and causes 200 damage.
Requires – nothing, already learnt when started game.
Rat Companion – Icon : Rat

Missile: Rat
Mana Cost: 90
CD: 80 seconds
Casting Time: 1 second.
Description: Creates a keen eyed rat to scout a specific area, the rat has true sight and when the titan comes near it will screech as loud as it can, the screech will stun the titan for 1 second. (The rat is not invisible) (Open for suggestions for this one)
(Yes it’s like the goblin stun trap but it’s not invisible.)
I havnt chosen yet, so its up to you. should I choose to have the RAT COMPANION or the CARRION SWARM as his starting escape ability?
Ok. The piper needs spells to support his army and bases. so here is his Song book, which contains buffs and debuffs.

Description: Gives Players around the piper a +10% damage increase.

Missile: Dunno something that says “Loud”

Casting Time: 1 second.
Description: The piper plays a chord that distracts the titan, causing him to lose armor and flee. (Basically howl of terror). Armour lost is 10 and forces titan to run away for a bit!

Control – Icon: Possession

Missile: Charm
Mana Cost: 100
CD: 80 seconds
Casting Time: 1 second.
Description: Takes control of a small Creature, These creatures can be controlled for a small amount of time (30 seconds) creatures include the critters around the island and the Minion Mini’s. (Those annoying things that take seeds) This attack will basically work on any low level creature, whether its syphs minions or critters around the map.
-Requires Control from RC

Song of Healing – Icon :

Missile: Healing Ward
Mana Cost: 50
CD: 30 seconds
Casting Time: 1 second.
Description: The piper sings a song that heals units around him for 30 life a second. Including him, the healing affect has a reverse affect on the titan, causing him to lose 30 life a second. piper is stationary when this is happening.

Description: The Piper sings a song of valour, increasing damage of towers/units by 10% in an area of 500.

Description: The Piper sings a song of speed, increasing the attack and movement speed of a unit or tower. (increases speed by 50% for 10 seconds)

Description: The piper calls upon a mighty portal to the nether, which from he calls critters that he sent into the void, and were warped by their energies.
FINAL TOWERS
The Piper can only have 1 ultimate tower. Depending on what instrument he randomly summoned at the start, the piper can upgrade it using a recipe requiring an instrument and 90 gold that the ARC sells. When the piper upgrades the instrument he loses all the buffs the instrument gives.
1 – Harp Upgrade – Resonating Lights
Damage: 75-75 Fast damage attack speed
Special: The Resonating lights cling onto the enemy dealing 30 extra damage to the titan. and slowing attack speed by 5%
(when held as an item it gives immolation in an area of 500 around the piper, dealing 70 damage a second)
2- Flute Upgrade – Harmonius Totem
Damage: 125-125 Medium attack speed
Special: Can attack up to 3 targets
(When held as an item it automatically shoots piercing notes at enemies, notes deal 30 damage twice every second.)
3 – Drum Upgrade – Ambience Cannon
Damage: 140-140 Medium attack speed
Special: AOE attack and a 15% chance to hit a 3x critical
(when held as an item it increases armour by 10 and gives thorns aura)
THORNS AURA HAS AN AREA OF 500 AND RETURNS 20% OF DAMAGE
ALL OF THESE TOWERS COST 90 GOLD AND 300 LUMBER AND REQUIRE THE CORRESPONDING INSTRUMENTS FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO BE MADE.

This grabs a hold of the enemy and slowly drags them towards the devastator, doing 100 damage a second till it arrives at the devastator, it takes 2 seconds for the enemy to be pulled back, and its max range is 700. (very fast pull)

Nether Poison

Gives a slowing poison to the warped menagerie and morphed birdling’s attacks. the poison decreases movement speed and attack speed by 10%
Blink – cost 500 lumber
Icon: Blink
Gives all Nether units 1 mana and the ability to use Blink. Blink has the same range as stonethrowers.
Robe Lining – cost 500 Lumber

Increases Life by 100 and changes armour type to Medium
Ok. So that basically wraps up the builder.

100 Gold for all spells and I’ve gotten rid of some gold on some of the abilities to make sure he isn’t completely useless when someone dies early.
