Is that... are you... is there really a thing called AIDS in coding? D: Because if so, I'd recommend using HIV for auto library index... structuring. Or something.

Yeah, except AIDS is actually a super powerful library that allows you to pretty much make structs that extend units.

What's the point of using even more bloated and inefficient OOP thinking when you in reality just need an index for a unit? The "GetUnitId(unit)" function is all that you ever will need. Yes sure, using some OOP syntax might look good when you submit a system or a spell for review but when you code your own things OOP is almost never a necessary unless you go into make some huge unit system with different structs for units and classes and ....... But when that time comes you could probably have made it way more efficient and neat just using structs without the OOP thinking because for your own system you don't need the modularity, you can make it 100% perfect without that thinking, but a user that uses your code needs it because you don't know what he will do with your system and OOP makes it easier for him to make your system act the way he wants it to.

Yep, I was in the chat channel when he came up with that, we were brainstorming bad names and then making up abbreviations based on them for teh lulz and then he went with AIDS.

No, Azlier was a regular att TH.net as far as I know before he became anything on THW, I believe he was one of the first ones to come up with a stupid name for one of his systems but he did not come up with AIDS, I think it was Uberplayer or Artificial who came up with that name.

This thread has gotten horridly off-topic. At first hell was only asking for feedback, and then u guys start flaming and saying how horrid it is....
