So i started a new post in the island discussion page. and sickle deleted it for no reason. all i was doing was telling people about my new map Island Defense Hell Edition. And for some reason he deleted it! WTF!  |

I'm sure Sickle has enough jass experience to edit Island Defense, but I doubt his competency to maintain an editor position.
He removed your post to eliminate the competition ..

I didn't delete it because to remove competition, I deleted it because, in my opinion, no one likes little spin-offs that are completely unprofessional, post about them in random threads to get attention, or post like they didn't make the map to make themselves look like a fan.
As was said, Island Discussion is not an adwall.

Oh yes, because it's not blatantly obvious this guy is the editor of the map when he posts something like this: "Have you heard of a new map called Island Defense Hell Edition. ive played it and i have to say its really fun. there's new builders and titan. new terrain and items. also many fixes from the other versions. and the hero cap is 35. its not yet fully complete but version 2.0a is the newest one and i have to say its really fun." I mean, why would he even lie. And he can still post it in General Chat as adam said. |

I can understand why the post was deleted, but maybe moving woulda been a better way to go about it? course if u dont think the hell edition map is good, maybe u should give it a try and see if u like anything about it. I helped him work on it and helped with ideas and i think that it plays pretty well. it is still within beta testing form cause i know there are lots of bugs that will need to be weeded out, but still. I think u should at least check it out.

I'm up for anyone refreshing ID, as long as they do it properly (keeping most mechanics the same, not oping or uping any titans/builders, etc). Although I would not be against a "nightmare mode" ID (for builders of course).
