The Time Builder

Hi I'm here to post a new idea to Island Defense that I think would be a very cool new addition to the game.
I have been playing since 1.5 and have always wished something like this would come up in the new versions.
Hope you like the suggestion.

After a freak accident with his portal machine Chrono finds him self on an island and is awoken by some small creatures.
They explain that his machine has been broken and is now being kept by a monster who lives in the center of the island
know as the "Titan". In order to go back home Chrono joins his new comrades in a fight with the Titan.

*I would like it to look like Maginas blink from DotA. The faded blink that he does if possible.

Slow Ms/As: 60%
Builder Ms increase: 60%
Description: Chrono shatters the space time continuum for a short while to slow nearby enemies
and increase his own speed.
*Thunder Clap that also increases his MS. Can be used to help out teammates or as a panic.
*The art for Slow Time is "Chain Lightning<target>" under abilities in the editor.

Abilities:

Slow Aura: A 40% slow to all enemy units in a 400 AoE.


*researched* Waygate Construct: The hunter selects a spot to become immobile and transform into a Waygate.
*this one could have a lighter yellow tint.

Hp: 50
Armor: 5 fort
Size: 3x3
Cost: 30
Bounty: 2
Purpose: Cannot produce workers instead supplies 15 lumber every second if either Chrono or one of his 2 hunters
are within a 600 AoE of the Shelter. These units stack with each other. May only have 1 built at a time. Grants Passive mana regeneration to player owned units.
*by stack I mean if Chrono is by him self near the shelter it will produce 20 lumber a second
If Chrono and one hunter is near it will produce 30 lumber a second
And If Chrono and both his hunters are near it will produce 45 lumber a second.
*other units such as turtles and merchant units do not trigger this.
*Valid units have the <mana drain> art attached to their origin while in range.


*without the blue dot

Armor: 5 fort

*with the blue dot and larger
Upgraded Time Wall:
HP:450

*with a blue glow around the wall and slightly larger

Ability:

Foresight: By being from the future Chrono is aware of what is to come. With this knowledge he prepares his
defenses to counter possible dangers by creating different defense mechanisms for each foe.
*each attacking titan will trigger a different effect:
Luci- (while ultimate is on) Gives the eternal walls 25% magic reduction.
Syph- When a eternal wall dies it purges any nearby enemy summoned units
Glac- (while ultimate is on) Attacks on the wall have a 5% chance to reduce titan armor by 10 for 20 seconds
Molt- (Once ultimate is learned)Gives the eternal walls 65%% magic reduction.
Grant- (while ultimate is on)If Grant uses avatar eternal walls get a 15 armor bonus for the duration.
Breez- (while ultimate is on) Attacks on the wall have a 5% chance to slow attack speed by 60% for 3 seconds
Bub- (Once ultimate is learned) Attacks on wall cure all nearby builders of disease cloud.
Foss- (while ultimate is on) give attacked eternal wall an aura to reduce regeneration by .5% and armor by 5
Demon- (while ultimate is on) When eternal walls are attacked give attacked wall true sight for 1 second.
Volt- (Once ultimate is learned) give eternal walls 10% chance to dodge
*I'm not a master of the world editor so I'm not sure if some of this stuff is un-code able. If so i will change.
*numbers are not permanent its more the idea of the wall that does better late game

Hp: 600
Armor. 8
Size: 4x4
Upgrades:


Time Lapse:
Chronos becomes less disoriented in this time period and become stronger.
Gains 100 Hp and 150 Mp, and both of his escape abilities cooldowns are reduced by 10/30.
Cost: 15g / 500L


Throw Mist level-1:
Throws Mist at a targeted area that causes enemies to miss some of their attacks.
Miss is 20%.
Cost: 15g / 1500L


Throw Mist level-2:
Throws Mist at a targeted area that causes enemies to miss some of their attacks.
Miss is 30%.
Cost: 20g / 2000L


Throw Mist level-3:
Throws Mist at a targeted area that causes enemies to miss some of their attacks.
Miss is 40%.
Cost: 25g / 2500L


Pre-Known Weakness:
Looking ahead in time Chronos is able to know where the enemy is even if they are
not in sight.Reduces armor by 5 and gives sight of the unit last 10 seconds and only
affects minions.
Cost 20g / 1500L
Cd: 60
Mana Cost: 75


Reverse Time:
Move time backwards 4 seconds for a selected unit by forcing it back to the position where it was when
you cast the spell Reverse Time. The Target will be moved back after 4 seconds. Only works on Minions.
Cost: 25g / 2000L
Cd: 90
Mana Cost: 125


Waygate Construct:
Gives you're titan hunters Time and Space the ability to transform into Waygates. While in this form they
are considered buildings and are immobile but can regenerate.
Cd: 60
Mana Cost: 200 both in and out
Cost: 40g / 3500L

Waygate Stats:
Hp: 500
Armor: 5 fort
Regen: 1
Size: 2x2


Selected Continuum:
Stops combat in a large area around the Chrono. Range is a 1100 AoE. Stops all Units,
Titans, Towers, and Walls from attacking(/building) for 5 seconds. Does not affect Item, repairing,
or upgrading.
*the AoE is larger that all towers range except storm meaning that in that area no attacking will be going on.
Cost: 30h / 3000L


Eternal Walls:
Allows the construction of eternal walls. These walls have different effects on different titans.
Cost: 20g / 2000L
*requires Waygate Construct upgrade*

Funny idea i know what u mean with possibilitys
like nuke tele and he has to run the whole map to nuke again

no towers?

How abiut toggle space paradox i mean if hes almost dead and he gets telleported back by you then other builder(s) wouldnt be happy

and personally i think this needs to be a little more animal

The walls are imbalanced, the Selected time spell is also imbalanced, I'm not a fan of the humanoid builder, Waygate suggestion is nice tho.

Needs more work but decently thought out.

Walls are broken, and there is no way to balance that, its that simple. Rest I'm too lazy to go through currently.

hm i had 2 ideas for his walls so ill post the second one. I kinda figured this ones outcome.

Selected Continuum could seem imbalanced with the numbers but the disable isn't necessarily a negative effect for the builders or the titan. During the disabled time builders can repair(not build) while the titan could be healing.

PoNy I'm sorry i don't understand you you first comment "like nuke tele and he has to run the whole map to nuke again" because you cant nuke buildings. I really like your toggle suggestion but I'm afraid it will be imbalanced still : /

The workers are like vampirism's form of workers (even though the map was made from the idea of vampirism). The idea of this builder is a little too op if he is at middle and golding (imaging a battle faerie, but with HP instead of battle training)

I'm sure the spell only affects things in its radius, so only the titan would be stunned and some towers, my bad not stunned FROZEN. The remaining towers in range of the titan will destroy him.

The titan would be sent back to gold at a % in a enclosed space allowing builders to rewall.

Model gives appeal because that's the picture they see. It also helps determine if it is ranged or melee in some cases. It may also look weird among the other builders in the map. That is probably why most people don't like those models.
I personally don't really care but I don't like them anyways :/

sorry but i dont like it. both of your wall suggestions are waaay op. and without special walls, this builder isnt very unique. i dont like the model, and if u bring up gob, pirate, or radio i'l say; i dont like those models either.
and how the hell would a kobold model fit this whole "time warp" thing.

unqiue how he has 2 hunters, but when they transform, can you actually USE the waygate to get around? if so, can your allies? this would either be dead useful, or verryyyyy op, say you want to buy an item from special shop (while sending your hunter would be smarter anyway, thats beyond the point) you just send your hunter over there, make a portal, go through, make your item, get back to base, takes 30 seconds.

Nice idea with some tweaking, you might wanna go with a different model though, something that isn't human, cuz people will freak (ignoring pirate..) and kobold really doesn't fit, i'll think more on it and repost when i think of a theme-fitting model that hasn't been used, and is inhuman

builder is melee.
Flash- the hunters transform themselves into waygates. So the builder and all ally builders can go through the gates if both are "built". Only one hunter has blink so only one can seed. Yes you could do a round about way of making items i guess but a smarter purpose for the hunters is the link 2  strong bases or to allow a baser to get to the gold easier or even just map travel. and i spent about 20 min on world edit just looking at models and kinda just picked one that wasn't already used and could possibly take the part.

Capn- if i wanted to suggest a titan i would have.

Numbers aren't set in stone. concept. concept. concept.

another skin could be put on the model to make it look more creature like or whatever
