When Starcraft II comes around later this month, ID will be ported in one form or another to it. I have an idea that would help new players out. My idea is that for every builder or Titan, somebody uploads a full replay of them playing it to Youtube, then add small captions explaining certain details. This includes anything from little tips and tricks to how to siege with certain Titans. I would be willing to do half or more of these if anyone else would want to volunteer when the time comes. The reason for this is that, it's a lot more in depth and comprehensive than a regular guide. It also shows new players what experienced players do in certain situations and why they do it, hopefully teaching them something in the process.

I was about to do this for my nature guide, but I couldn't get my sony vegas to work at the time. This is a good idea, as long as you are able to get people to do so.

I don't care about graphics, but Starcraft II is 7 or so years newer than WC3, and has a better chance of retaining a community and creating a new one. |
