Does the 3.0.6e map on these forums contain the cheats that people are using?
Neco did you add them?
If so, whoever added those cheats, they ruined the game. I want a map that doesn't have cheats on it, I have like 5 .6e maps.

So you're saying if I play the above map and no one spoofs neco, they should not be able to cheat.
I'm fine with that, as long as thats the ONLY way to cheat. There aren't any other "cheatable" accounts right.
I just won't play with anyone named neco.

All the old ones were removed by panda, only panda was kept and assume neco/gwy added some.
Well out of curiosity I decided to look. For .6e its only neco, pandamime (which really isnt needed anymore since he's gone), and gwypaas.
Edit: Why 3 neco why?

So wait, if I join and Island Defense game, I'm going to get instantly banned? Doesn't seem right  It isn't the internal "admin commands" that is the problem, it is the additional code added by other people. Unfortunately, there is no way to stop this as it is really simple to inject new code into a map and then recompile it, protected or not. All I can really tell you is to just play the official one downloadable from this forum. |

nope. aap is hosting hacked version and there is a reason to kick pandamime if he joins your game. one hes garbage at builder and two he banned/moderated many of us in past so its not like hes viewed as a good guy by many |

I found the modified code in one of the hacked versions, and it seems there might be a way to counteract it. I'll keep looking into this... Are there cheats in the offical map Neco? That was unclear in your post, to me.
There are "cheats" in the sense of admin commands. All these commands allow us to do is to kick other players. |

Most common cheats are the JJ (JC?) cheat pack. I'm certain there is some way to disable the entire pack since it always uses the same code, the only problem is when its not that (but most are).

I dont expect you to negate cheats added by others in hacked versions.
As long as the official one doesn't have cheats idc.
