This is an idea I have been toying with.
Basically, double the number of Felhounds that are summoned by the Demonologist.
2 for the basic skill, 4 for the double summon upgrade.
In addition, I was thinking of changing the bound summoning upgrade to become an upgrade for all the standard summoned units, granting them new/better skills as well as improved stats.
I was thinking of better slow poison/range for Arach, faster ms for felhounds, and a lifesteal attack for overlords as well as improved hp.
Thoughts on either of these as well as any other ideas for Demonologist summons?

That would be nice but I think it would be funner to have some skills/spells were you have to activate instead of all of them passive.

errm, isn't demon strong enough already?
all you need is a balthasar with a bit of summons, and the minion is yours.
Magantuar is overpowered. All you need is polar wrath and fort aura and you make any base invincible. Satyr is overpowered, all you need is two CoT and then you can go beat up the titan. Troll is overpowered, all you need is 60k wood and a merchant and no one can break your base. Can you see the connection? |

Seems like some good concept's however we must be careful not to over-power the demo.I think with Darox's idea of giving units better skills and stats should be another upgrade one that is a little bit over-average cost cause that is a powerful advantage. However we should also think about the new skills for the units if you plan to do this.I think we should give the demo Demonic Wrath pure rip off of polar wrath!lol or we could add another summon also possible a buff from a summoned unit. Also i think you need to do something about those weak little mini demons you can get for like 750 wood. Those things suck. Or i have never used them properly.

I think you should scale abilities with demonic strenght.
And add new abilities with other upgrades.

Scorpion saves lives while golding. The slow poison gives the builders a chance to escape, or it takes the aggro while the builders run into safety. They also help alot if you trap a mini in your walls. |

Um. 1) Trapping minis at mound. 2) Trapping a seigeing titan. 3) Walling mound to gold. 4) Last resort escape tactic. 5) Blocking an area off so you can upgrade. Meaning, I dislike demons who whine to get into someone elses base to upgrade minions or research balth. Go to a base that can be blocked off with one layer of walls, toss down 8 or so. The titan isn't going to see you immediately unless he gets a kill. Research, then destroy your buildings. While I'm at it, why in the hell DO demons insist on building their adv and merchants before they can actually use them? Or keep them after you have gotten everything you need? |

I hate demo, always done that. But buffing that shitrace is wrong, course the ammount of summon that he has already is to many. Two Felhounds will burn mana like hell.
But there's this simpel Solution to this, Remove the shitrace from the game and Put in another race.

These two don't work through the virtue of the fact that the wall lasts for only 8 seconds. Other 3 work though. |

since when is "nologist" one letter? No, see, DEMON is an actual word. As opposed to demo. The builder is a... what? A demon. Therefore, why not just say demon? |

That... is really just one more reason for people to say demon rather than demo for the builder. Shortened down for the same reason. Unless we're just giving preference to a titan who sits in roughly 1/8th of games over a builder race who sits in just about every game.  |
