I don't play anymore because of lost of interest due to the direction the map has turned. A lot of other IDG dissapeared just due to life.

I've played some recent games, but they aren't doing the trick.  Sc2 doesn't help either.

Consider that in terms of Island Defense. In my gameplay, Island Defense was only able to give me the flow if they I was titaning especially with lee nature in the game which was always, the first maybe 10-15  minutes of a game if I was a builder depending on if the titan could dominate gold mine control without a pure camp, and very end game where a capable titan was attempting to siege my base. There are exceptions from person to person on how they achieve their flow.

That's why I play so many FPS games. RTS games only put you in that if the stakes are very even, and MMORPG's take 0 skill at all which isn't fun.

I can't achieve flow like that in games, only with playing piano (fuck I'm a nerd), and I get what it is, that feeling where you can just like, like you just get into it.  Your fingers brush over the keys with an almost curl and fluidness (And I mean computer keys and piano keys), it's just the best feeling.

But, perhaps I'm too old with Island Defense to get that fluidness.  Or maybe my computer is too shitty to be able to do that.

Eh bite me.  I'll play again, but it was never worth putting the effort in to get really good. We all know the games broken in so many areas and it's tricky learning some crap(hell how many players on this forum CLAIM to be awesome, but just try to do tricky stuff and wind up as minion's 10 minutes in?)  I mean fuck what we need is some stable versions and a titan rota rather than the same few people just blowing everyone away.

I'm in a few inhouses. Sure, sometimes i die in the first 10 minutes, but it's either because the titan is that good or I was trying to pull of some tricky shit and failed (AKA getting better at the game)... Or just because I'm a greedy bastard and stayed too long at the mound, getting wanded or slowed (fuck glac's nuke).

The problem with ID Inhouses were they tended to be one sided. Either all the builders were at the top of their game denying the shit out of everything and all the builders whoring up gold, or someone screwed up and titan steamed rolled from there on.
