So, what are the hot items to use nowadays?

For amusement, if i get fed enough (referring to neco's .8 version) I go for Fiery Claws, Beserker Gem, Helm of Rage, Life Essence, MSTOG, and Titanic Trident. EVerything else will the be tomes of power.

For teh real lulz with grant once, i decided to do nothing but tome hp, so when I finally got my ulti, i had 11,200 hp and couldn't be killed

I know it may sound noobish, but my strategy as Titan is to win by not letting the builders rewall. I try to kill all the basers before they can base but sometimes one or two Builders will get a good base up. My items are: Mystical Staff of the Gods (must have, 1st item I combo), wards combo and then wind catcher. I then usually get the Helm of the Dominator combo. All the rest of my gold is spent on more wind catchers for my minions.

I like to kill basers by killing their walls a few at a time and then camping right outside their base with my titan using ward to heal. I constantly double ww to keep the builder second guessing while I also continuously nuke their workers. I also keep minis outside the walls to nuke the builder if he goes to rewall. The builder can't rewall effectively because there are always the threats of either 1. my titan in ww, 2. minions nuking or 3. minions in ww. This strategy can take some time to finally kill a powerful base and a few times I've lost to a satyr blocking me in (which is why I get staff now lol).

So my titan strategy answser is: neither attack speed or nor strength, focus on cheap tricks instead.

But if I were to choose one over the other, speed v strength, then I'd say Strength. Str items are what I spend my excess gold on. If the Titan can tank all the damage then all the minion spawns can rush in unharmed.

I use floating eyes too. haha Finally some one else agrees with me that is how to win! The no rewalling and nuking part. I guess I've heard I was cheap so many times that the words got stuck in my head.

You have a point about the staff. I don't think I will continue to get that item now if all the satyrs are dead. Good point and you are correct on that.

msog is usefull in any game that has atleast 2 ww'ers.
you dont know how many time it saved my ass from being walled in in ww.
Also, mana regen and mana is a good thing to have
pearl is a bonus.

I'd rather have 3 lvl 4-5 minis hanging outside walls waiting for that waller. If he tries, I hit with one nuke, then when he starts backing I hit with the other two when he is in bounce range of the main builder. It's nice when its off a sat and 3 other builders :]

you can have msog and a floating eye btw, they are not related.

Msog isnt a very good item, normally u just rush ur minis in after ur main titan so that they will never try to repair / poke or cast skills on ur titan if u have 3+ minis with u while u siege. if they aim ur minis just back ur minis / ww the one being focused, buying time for main titan to siege.

In my opinion, a normal pearl is enough if there're wwers in the base since you know it and you should be able to react if you don't see the mag or whoever anymore.

I would only buy msog because of the pearl sharing but I never really liked it..

You don't really need it. Depends on how you are playing him.

true, it just depends how mana dependent you play.
i siege for long, with essence, so for me extra mana and regen is a great thing to have.

I usually just keep mana stones (forgot their name) instead of getting msotg if I'm going mana heavy.

Think about it, msotg = 20g + 25g + 15g + 10g, which brings together a cost of 70g. That is a shit-tonne. I'd rather use that money and contribute to a helm of dom. or Life essence. It also does not have the bonus +50% mana regeneration that coral gives. True sight isn't even that good. pearling isn't so hard when you know how to micro.

Msotg is only used by "pros" when they are playing hide and seek or preventing a certain gold fed builder from basing by passing around the msotg.

dude, msog is awesome. It adds attack speed, mana, manaregen, and an improved pearl (thats reason enough) AND TS.
