Would anyone here know how to make a teleport trigger?
What I'm planning is when someone steps on or into something they instantly teleport somewhere else.

P.S Try to keep it GUI because I don't even know how to use JASS and I don't know how to input it into WE.
Thank You in advance.

Thanks Zen, I managed to get some of it to work and it's pretty good. But I have a problem. I decided to make it so when you restep on FootSwitch B, you instantly go back to the last FootSwitch you came from. So I copied this trigger and just replaced some stuff. I went to test the map. When I stepped on that FootSwitch, the game lagged and the hero, unit just kept going back and forth.

I was able to get the hero, unit from point A to point B normally.

Trigger:
-Events-
Unit- A unit enters FootSwitch A <gen>

-Conditions-

-Actions-
Unit- Move (Entering Unit) Instantly to (Center of FootSwitch B <gen>)

But:
It all screwed up when I inputed this trigger:

-Events-
Unit- A unit enters FootSwitch B <gen>

-Conditions-

-Actions-
Unit- Move (Entering Unit) Instantly to (Center of FootSwitch A <gen>)

Can anyone help me get the triggering right?
Thank You in Advance!!  Smiley

Scratch the last reply out. (Bit in Red)                  Note: I'm still new to editing so try to keep
                                                                                                           things GUI.
Thank You  Smiley

Trigger:
-Events-
Unit- A unit enters FootSwitch A <gen>

-Conditions-

-Actions-
Unit- Move (Entering Unit) Instantly to (Center of FootSwitch B <gen>)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It all screwed up so I tried a new trigger hoping it'd work. I changed the points that the hero would go to. i.e. Point A to Point B, Point B to Point C and Point C back to Point A.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now my new trigger is:

Point A to B:

-Events-
Unit- A unit enters FootSwitch A <gen>

-Conditions-

-Actions-
Unit- Move (Entering unit) instantly to (Center Of FootSwitch B <gen>)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Point B to Point C

-Events-
Unit- A unit enters FootSwitch B <gen>

-Conditions-

-Actions-
Unit- Move (Entering unit) instantly to (Center Of FootSwitch C <gen>)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Point C to Point A

-Events-
Unit- A unit enters FootSwitch C <gen>

-Conditions-

-Actions-
Unit- Move (Entering unit) instantly to (Center Of FootSwitch A <gen>)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But, that was also a failure too. The game just lagged and froze. Angry So I'm hoping that someone could help me and I'll give you +1 awesomeness to the people that replied something that was useful etc.

Until than, I'll just have to use from one point to another and that's it  Undecided

First off you can use the edit button (top right of post) to edit things, also adding in point C wouldn't change anything since it will continues what it did before with A and B, now C is in there so they warp around 3 spots.

A simple solution because I don't want to wait 10 minutes to load up WE and because I'm still waking up is just move the areas off a bit, so they are to the side of FootSwitch (A,B,C). I'm renaming the footswitch A,B,C to 1,2,3
Code:
-Event-
A unit enters FootSwitch 3 <gen>
-Condition-
?
-Action-
Move (Entering unit) instantly to (Center Of FootSwitch 1ALT <gen>)
-------------------
-Event-
A unit enters FootSwitch 1 <gen>
-Condition-
?
-Action-
Move (Entering unit) instantly to (Center Of FootSwitch 2ALT <gen>)
-------------------
-Event-
A unit enters FootSwitch 2 <gen>
-Condition-
?
-Action-
Move (Entering unit) instantly to (Center Of FootSwitch 3ALT <gen>)

Its a different region that is off to the side of the transporting area. So its of to the right, left, up, or down of the teleporting region.

Sorry to bother you so much but this might be the last question I'll need for this topic.
How do I actaully add the "alt" bit. Can't seem to find it.
And.
Do I have to make that "region" off to the left, right, front or back?

Don't worry about the bit above. It's not worth reading because it's just stupid questions that take common sense, noticing things and doing or learning things for yourself. But thanks for all the help  Smiley

Damn, now how do you delete replies?  Huh?

Lol idc if you post, i'd be glad to help you. Why not make it move to where you want it? instead of doing it like that, because it creates lags and if it isn't reused memory leaks
